The tigerzord was my first power ranger toy! I remember asking for a zord for Christmas and my Dad stood in line for hours to get one from our local Toys-R-Us =)

Whoever put the megazord together failed big time. not only did they put the Mega tigerzord head while it was in Warrior Mode, but they mixed up the arms, the Firebird Zord attachment goes on the left and the sword on the right, the toy in this advert had them on the wrong way round. LOL, :D obviously Tor was the one that cost £49.99 (GBP). :D

@David315842 I remember seeing in a toy catelog for the Ninja Megazord someone had the Cranezord's wings out when it was in Megazord mode. haha. Oh well. Yeah I noticed it used the Mega Tigerzord's head to. I thought the firebirdzord went on the right arm though?

@UltimateDragon709 Yeah you'tre right, it is the right arm on the show, I don't know why I said the left. I said that the Mega Tigerzord's head was used in it's Warrior Mode, where it all ready has it's own head. :D

You know I also noticed on the Thunder Megazord boxes back then that the firebird's tail could attach to the Red Dragon Warrior Mode's staff to form a lance for the megazord. I always wondered why they never used that.

@UltimateDragon709 True, they didimport the zord costumes and used them in new battle footage, but only for a couple of episodes, most notably in the beginning of the third series.

They were one of he highlights of being young and truly able to believe in the ridiculous. I'd give anything to go back and be a little kid who's enamored with Power Rangers as opposed to being a 26 year old guy enamored with Power Rangers like I am now. I'd probably get fewer stares and more respect from my parents...

I think the reason why the Rangers are shown in the original Megazord cockpit is because I can only guess that Bandai didn't have permission from Saban to show American footage and were restricted to Sentai footage only, It's a possibility but I don't know if my theory is correct, as there was a UK commercial for the talking White Ranger and Lord Zedd figures which had a group shot of the Rangers from "A Friend in Need, Pt. 1" thrown in.

@notgillcup I think it's because they actually had completely different suits that went with the Thunder Megazord (DaiRenOh) in Japan because it was a different team, and they probably didn't have the footage yet that they filmed of the American Rangers in the Thunder Megazord's cockpit that they could use.....then again, I'm not sure when during the show's original run that this commercial was released, so I could be wrong.

@mojovie Not true the other zords simply add weight to the combined mecha. So that Ultrazord drops faster and they can flatten the monsters. True The Red Dragon Thunderzord is the only piece that adds any movability by using his arm and staff as a helicopter rotor to lift the gargantuous beast up. Dino Ultrazord would simply just shoot forward they couldn't shoot up so if TU were to lift off before DU could lock on then TU could crush ad compact DU.

The Dairanger versions were much better since they were more closer to the show then these version even though the same molds were used. The lighting bolts on the labels and missing or inaccurately painted areas were why the MMPR season 2 version of the Chi Beasts from Dairanger where not show accurate.
