  • My favorite was roasted matoke, cassava, beans and roasted goat, when I was in Uganda. I didn't like the millet bread, it had an odd taste. G-nut sauce was good, but posho was boring. I did really like the grasshoppers when they were in season though!!!

  • I love the freshly harvest foods, but after seeing it being prepared, am sorry it doesnt looks too appetizing. am from the caribbean so I know good food but I came from a family of farming we have similar food . Millet bread with cassava is the only thing I think I would try. I like the idea of using the banana leaf as a means of steaming. The Land is lush, fresh and green, healthy looking animals. I would definately drink some of the fresh cow's milk with a bit of grated nutneg and sugar.

  • yum yum yum i miss home

  • @namono mee too. wish i could meet ugandans around san diego
