I would name my game store "The Lord Of The Games" firstly, because I am a huge fan of LOTR and tolkien in general, and secondly because none will have power over my store, one store to rule them all
Hey Asian Guy Gamer, I'd name my Game Store, " 5 Star Forever Gaming" and why i'd name it that is mostly cause Gaming for me has last my whole life and i feel Gaming in general should be rated 5 stars as it's influenced many ages from young to old, with good games , great consoles & pure enjoyment for many years to come. :D
I would call my game store "Better than Gamestop" because Gamestop sells "new" games, but they are open. They also sell games that are scratched to hell! My store would treat the customers right :) Plus we wouldn't pay fifty cents for and NES game.
Hey asian guy gamer , great question, ive been dreaming about doing the same for a long time. I dream to this day about opening my own gaming store. Current and retro games. But my store will also have comic books, toys, movies and sports collectables! ahhh to dream of maybe one day opening my own place and to be my own boss. "The Nerd Next Door"
I'd call my store - "Shut Up & Take My MONEY". I'd sell current and classic game consoles, games and accessories aswell as some PC hardware, games, etc. The ultimate gaming store for the hardcore gamer. I'd also provide an arcade section too with some current and classic arcade machines. Win, win business in my opinion.
I would name my video game store Forever Questing because I love Role Playing Games and doing quests is the best part. I have loved video games since I was little so I hope to be interested in them forever. :D
Assuming that my game store could go worldwide (or at least around a country) and be more efficient than game stop I would call it "Gamenopoly". Because I would be running the "trade" of video games(for the most part).
My store would be called "Video Rat". Back in the day, my friends would say, if you played games too much games, you were ratting out. E.G...Hey, you were ratting out on Dragon's Lair.
I would simply call my store: "The Ultimate Gamer"
I would cater to all aspects of gaming, to include: retro video games, current video games, card games, board games and miniature gaming. Any type of gamer would have a place there. There would be tournaments of all kinds, all the the time.
I think I would have to name my store 'retro-cade' or maybe "Joysticks-R-US" mainly due to the fact that if I went into the retail business, i would have to ensure that part of my store was a coin-op arcade. Sadly almost all of the arcades i see now are either games for tickets, or just racing and/or shooting games.
Hard one... Maybe "Reaper Games" Compleate with a black red eyed ghostly dog on the logo i guess, i love mythology and games so i guess that makes enough sense. Plus Shuck's are bad ass! lol
I had to really think about this one. 24 hours later I came up with "Insert Coin Gaming". The name is a "double entendre" if there ever was one. Obviously people come to the store to spend coin on games. But the name would also be a way of paying tribute to years gone by when we used to "insert coin" at the arcades just to get our gaming fix!
I would name mine AJ Games, because I would co run it with my brother and our names are Allen and Justin. Nothing really catchy, but we would both be a part of it :).
The Game Academy. Not only would it sell retro and current gen video games...it would have board games as well. I picked this name because it sounds like an inclusive club that would welcome any one that has any interest in any games (and for any age). Want a Mario monopoly? done. Want Halo 4 we have that too :)
would name my store "Kingdom Gaming", It will be a save haven for gamers and enthusiast of all kinds. well will be selling retro - modern games along with our own PWN'ED Arcade Room exclusively available for our Sacred Pro Members. Anything gamers need? They know that Kingdom Gaming Is the way to go We're open 24 Hours a day and seven days a week.
When I play video games I build memories. Either I am remembering an old game I've played or else playing a new game that I will come back to in the future.
nos·tal·gia /näˈstaljə/
Noun:
A sentimental longing for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.
Sorry, but the used game market is going away. The Xbox 720 won't even play used games. Also E A is already putting on-line passes already. So with that in mind, My game store name would be, GAME OVER! I guess, I really don't have to tell you why..
I would name my store "Heroes United" for a couple of reasons. 1. Im HUGE into superheroes, so my store would sell comicbook as well as video games. 2. Nearly 90% of all video games have some sort of hero in them (Link, Nathan Drake, Master Chief, etc...) so it would like all the video games heroes uniting in one place, my store. 3. And it just sounds pretty cool.
Gotta go with Punch-Out Games. Easy to remember and recognizable because it's based on arguably the greatest NES game. But could I get away with it while avoiding copyrights? Probably not, so instead I'd have to go with something like ReRuns because I'd have a lot of retro stock, not to mention movies/tv shows. Great question.
I would call it: Retrobution, and the tagline would be: "when pixels fight back". (I would try and get the Mooninites from 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' in my logo).
@The8bittheater, I would name mine GaMeSrUs! Yeah it's copied of toyrus but hey! Don't K-mart & wal-mart sound alike and have there own identity? Anyways I would sell everything that's related to gaming, consoles, retro games, accessories and I even make an Arcade Room so every gamer can experience what arcade gaming was! Oh how I skipped class to kick ass at StreetFighter 2!
I would probably name it "Retro Games, for Days" because I would mainly focus on retro games and I would have tons of them!!! Because retro gaming is where it is at.
"Pav Gaming".... generic I know... but pav is the name I use for all my gaming avatars and that's what everyone calls me online. I'd call it Gaming because not only would i sell games I think i could do some pretty sick custom art for consoles and controllers and brand it with Pav Gaming.
I would call my store "If You Don't Buy My Games At This Store. I Will Lose My House!" That way people will feel obligated to shop at my awesome ass store and give me lots of money.
I would name it Three Days Gaming because my two favorite things in the world is the band Three Days Grace and Video Games....hey its got the same initials =D 3.D.G
OH SHIT!!! Oh it depends on if is a current game store or a retro game store. If it were a current game store it would be called " I Got Game" and if it were a retro game store, it would be called "I Had Game" LMAO!!!
Ok, I got lost after you said the first winner. Can you repeat that? lolol. Nice statues. Ummmmmm. *thumbs up* I like. My video store name? "Gamer's World". Every time we'd go playing video games, or whether buying them etc, we'd go into our own little gaming world no matter how old we are, we tend to be kids again shopping for what makes ya happy!! Peaceout..
Past to Present Games, I would sell retro games as well as the newest releases. I'd also sell anything game related like plush toys and action figures.
I would call my game store, "Nerds" I think it would attract many people and when they found out it was all genre of games then they would like it. Let people call us gamers nerds all they want hehe. We love gaming :)
no idea. if i win this contest AND open a video game store one day ill call it what ever you want. scratch that what ever Kyle wants to call it. cool that pointblank got a snow troll!
I would call it "Thumbs Up Gaming".. Im not sure why but maybe everyone will thumbs up my comment. I would open up right next to Gamestop with a big thumbs down pointed at there sign. Just to get some extra Brownie points I would hire Point Blank Games, The Asian Guy Gamer, and Gamez Of War to run the store.
And once a year with overstock items, I would have a Super Smash Bros half off price day on the 5th Friday of the first month of February, mainly I chose that month is because thats one of the slowest retail months in history, and doing this will not only attract new customers, but get people to buy and referr other gamers and places to check out my cool gaming store!
Red Alert Games will be the name of my store because it was the name i was going to call my business when i was 16 years old because i was playing C&C Red Alert at the time
Also will include Novelty items that are gaming related as well as Comic books, and Manga DVD stuff and figurines! I would even add a freaking Cafe 80's in the corner of the game store and a spot where a local band can play every Friday night! Sorry no alcohol, but lunch, dinner, and even will have a backside for a gaming dance party of gaming music with disco lights, smoke and tournament competition of DDR. So what do you think of my idea?, Ready to get bankrupt? lol
Freaking great idea man, your own game store! Dude you would love the gamestore I go to!
Shoot I will do a video response to your question on that subject, but to answer the Title of my own game store, I would call it, "Absolute Games Unlimited", and the reason I would call it that is mainly because its geared to all gamer types old and new. Also attracts those heavy gamer collectors and those heavy pre-order freaks. I would attract Arcade developers to my store by sponsoring Arcade Tournaments.
im calling mine 'Jurassic Game Park' ive designed a logo which has a gamer instead of the dino in the jp logo, check it out - its my profile pic at the mo
wish me luck in my new online biz
wish me luck in court when steven spielberg goes hunting for retro games... ;\
Good Guy Games {Based on Good Guy Greg} Because the workers there would be the nicest ever [after going through an intense boot camp designed for the military XD] And of course because we would have a variety of games to suit all platforms and everybody! :D
I would name mine Game Utopia. The reason is because word "utopia" is like everything is perfect. And it would bring all gamers here to play, discuss and play tournaments! it will be epic!
SWAP N SHOP. i would alow customers to try the game before they buy it. for free. so they are certain they want it save dissapointment n bringing it back.do raffles. each purchase gets you a raffle ticket. prize is the top game in charts for free. 2nd price half price offer. ....
i saw in a old video you got skyrim guide. is the game any good? im on the fence about it. i have just finished skyward sword and wana do another lengthy adventure game and considering skyrim. does the guide hold your hand through the game?
@misterneckbreaker88 to tell you the truth, I haven't used the Skyrim guide. You can easily play the game without it. The game in my opinion is great.
If I unsub and sub back, can I be in the contest? I have an uncle that has a fetish for snow trolls and I would like to win one for him. lol That was real nice of you to get another one for the peeps and to ship anywhere around the world. Ahhhhhh, those to hearts made me blush, not my face, but my downstairs parts!! LMAO!!! My store would be called " Hurry Up and Buy!" I would sell to two things nerds love the most, video games and porn. LOL
I would name my store...G.F.T.W a.k.a Gamers For The World
I named it Gamers for the World because for gaming fans like you..play games for your life and the name For the World means you'll game for anything... and Lady Gaga once you "You were BORN THIS WAY" and what this means is that "If you were born to be a gamer...you have to play like a gamer" and that is my subtitle for my store...and that is why I named my store GAMERS FOR THE WORLD...and good luck to anyone out there :D
I would name it Video Games For All. (aka VGFA, pronounced Vee Gaah Faah )
So that all gamers no matter what age, sex and platform, are welcome and feel comfortable in the store. Apart from myself I would also have people working with me who also were gamers. Real gamers, not the type who pretend to be.
I Would Call It The Gamers Center Because It Could Be A Store For Where Gamers Can Hang Out And Talk About Games And Argue Or Discuss About Certain Games
If I opened my own video game store I would call it "Green Orb Games" because it would have a neon green theme and everything that's on sale would have a green orb tag! It would rock!
I'll call it Retro Shack. I'd call it that because retro games are my favorite games to collect and also because while radioshack was a store in Canada it was my favorite place to shop. plus I think it sounds cool and inviting to retro gamers.
"Video Game Depot" Very generic, yes, but I think the simplicity would draw people in. AND, it completely borrows from that terrible store that my parents used to drag me to, Home Depot. NOW, the kids could drag their parents to the "Video Game Depot" for a nice little taste of revenge :)
if i had my own videogame store id call it fantasy freedom because i think thats what videogames are for to escape from reality n for a brief moment be free from all problems i would sell retro and current gen but give a little more focus on retro which really isnt seen much where i live
If I had my own game store, I would name it... "Push Start Games" because it is simple and I think that simple names are the one's that stick in people's minds. Also, what gamer doesn't recognize the phrase "Push Start," it's at the beginning of almost every game. :)
I would name my store " You got PWNED." I'm sure you've heard of this from Modern warfare series. It shows the winning spirit that all gamers possess and gives that competitive nature in all of us. It's also a great place to sell, buy, and pawn your games....
I would name my store G@MER for Games at Murphy's Entertainment Room because that is the name I used for a graphic design project for business cards for my own fake business!
oooh....tough one...hmm Last Boss Games™. Why 'Last Boss, bring your A game'....that's my reason and cheesey slogan, no stealing, I patented it a while ago
I would name my store "Gamer's Paradise" Simple cuase the store would have every gaming console in existence same as for games for all type of consoles..Everything a true hardcore or casual Gamer and Game Collector would love !! A true "PARADISE" !!!!!! Is like Dying and gone to heaven !!
Gravy Games. Cause who doesnt love gravy, consoles are the mashed potatoes and the games are the gravy. and granted some mashed potatoes have butter in em, some have garlic junks or hell even chives but they all are tasty orgasmic goodness and they all need gravy, kinda like consoles with wifi bluray backwards compatibility etc. Makes at least enough sense to me (dumbest speech ever XD).
i would call it the kichen so girls can come in

Since you're giving away two trolls now, I'll give you two names. Both are tribute to probably the most influential game to modern mainstream gamers.
First is "WORLD 1-1" because that's where it began for many many gamers.
The other is "Another Castle" because that's where you're always trying to go (and where the princess is).

Red Alert Games will be the name of my store because it was the name i was going to call my business when i was 16 years old because i was playing C&C Red Alert at the time
thesaintedmagnusshow 1 month ago
Also will include Novelty items that are gaming related as well as Comic books, and Manga DVD stuff and figurines! I would even add a freaking Cafe 80's in the corner of the game store and a spot where a local band can play every Friday night! Sorry no alcohol, but lunch, dinner, and even will have a backside for a gaming dance party of gaming music with disco lights, smoke and tournament competition of DDR. So what do you think of my idea?, Ready to get bankrupt? lol
HWC1218 1 month ago
Freaking great idea man, your own game store! Dude you would love the gamestore I go to!
Shoot I will do a video response to your question on that subject, but to answer the Title of my own game store, I would call it, "Absolute Games Unlimited", and the reason I would call it that is mainly because its geared to all gamer types old and new. Also attracts those heavy gamer collectors and those heavy pre-order freaks. I would attract Arcade developers to my store by sponsoring Arcade Tournaments.

misterneckbreaker88 1 month ago
@misterneckbreaker88 to tell you the truth, I haven't used the Skyrim guide. You can easily play the game without it. The game in my opinion is great.

Ahhhhhh, those to hearts made me blush, not my face, but my downstairs parts!! LMAO!!! My store would be called " Hurry Up and Buy!" I would name my store...G.F.T.W a.k.a Gamers For The World
I named it Gamers for the World because for gaming fans like you..play games for your life and the name For the World means you'll game for anything... and Lady Gaga once you "You were BORN THIS WAY" and what this means is that "If you were born to be a gamer...you have to play like a gamer" and that is my subtitle for my store...and that is why I named my store GAMERS FOR THE WORLD...and good luck to anyone out there :D
ChrisYipMovies 1 month ago
I would name it Video Games For All. (aka VGFA, pronounced Vee Gaah Faah )
So that all gamers no matter what age, sex and platform, are welcome and feel comfortable in the store. Apart from myself I would also have people working with me who also were gamers. Real gamers, not the type who pretend to be.
