I really hate this show. All preppy-ass wannabes want is open concept, wood floor throughout and granite countertops 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms o.o and a stupidass man cave. This show is on all fricking day. I wish they cancle it so I could watch more Property Brothers, Holmes on Homes and Income Property. Or put DIY Network on cable.
Herman, how much, percentage wise, is an acceptable down payment in San Francisco these days? Also, does San Fran have any incentive programs for purchasing in under developed hoods?
@filmflow 20% is pretty typical for lenders across the board , regardless of where you live. there are however programs like FHA that allow for a 3.5% down payment. However, to qualifications are very stringent. SF does have some Below Market Rate homes designated for people who make significantly less than the average income. Good luck!
hey mrcandew, it's apparently hgtv's #1 show! but hey, different strokes for different folks right? ;-)
