Code Geass is the first anime to give me goosebumps. Eureka Seven was the anime that made me realize that when done well romance and mecha can go together perfectly. (Romance is my favorite genre...weird given that Im a dude) and Gurren Lagann......OH Gurren Lagann...the only anime to ever make me experience a full range of emotions, from beginning...to the ending; It made me smile, laugh, cry, got me angry, and in the end...left me with goosebumps and a crazy maniacal smile with laughter...

@Widmouno PLZ STOP CALLING CODE GEASS A MECHA ANIME. IT IS AN ANIME THAT HAPPENS TO HAVE MECHAS IN IT. Jeez even the director forgot that in season 2. Code geass is seperated from all other anime with giant robots in that Code Geass IS NOT ABOUT GIANT ROBOTS THEY JUST HAPPEN TO BE THERE. They are no different than guns or swords. Look at all the anime he listed to u in those the story revolves around the robot to somee extent but not in code geass so dont call it that it turns people offthe show
