Ali was a great fighter- one of the best- but im not convinced he is a great person. Compare his arrogance with the humility of Pacquiao for instance. And membership of the Nation of Islam- a racist political organisation which demonised all whites, was hardly something to boast about. Ali also contradicted himself on numerous occasions. He was a great fighter but im tired of people treating him like a diety without flaws.
@Handgun777 no ali though in any shape or form , manner, heart , boxing ability .. tyson was a weapon yess .. in an era of shit fighters compared to the 60's and late 70's which ali dominated even after a 3 1/4 year lay off ;)
You know. when we the younger generation watch a show like this from the 60's or 70's we have a lot to learn about standards, morals and life in general. Notice the way everyone conducts themselves. Polite, honest, fair and with respect and calm patience. Everyone waits there turn, has disipline, is well behaved and has dignity. Thats what Ali loved about Britain. We have lost most of these traits and our society has suffered. To think the heavyhight champ was so open, kind and loving. We love u
He did contradict himself at times when he sez he doesnt pay attention to what people say about him,coz you hear him on other interviews getting all upset about writers not paying him enough respect and things like that,no big deal but has to be pointed out
Lol, talk so much he forgot the question

Muhammad Ali is my hero.
He wasn't scared to speak his mind.
Muhammad Ali inspired us to be great like him and he's the greatest of them all.

Muhammad Ali fought the causes of our people and he didn't need to prove anything.

Anyone know what happened to Beryl Gibbons? I understand she was one of the first female boxing promoters.
