I don't understand this whole chosen one business. I went to the bookstore and saw a bunch of star wars books and found out that the republic gets conquered again by some new sith empire. So this whole saga, all 6 episodes, was meaningles... what exactly did they accomplish?

Anikan did a lot of shit but i think he always knows that he was wrong and after he meets his kids and thinks like this video it shows what he did he remembered that he is the chosen one and have to fulfilling the prophecy

people say anakin wasnt the chosen one, that luke was the chosen one...but Anakin was the only jedi to ever conquer the dark side, no matter wat the dark side did to him, he was the only one to be on the dark side, and go bak to the light side....Obi Won also almost went to the dark side, when his girl friend died

yes, if you read the books, he fell in love with Siri Tachi, who was Jedi Master Adi Gallia's apprentice. he met her through Qui-Gon, because Qui-Gon was friends with Adi Gallia. Obi-Wan and Siri were sent on a solo mission together, and it was there that they discovered their love for each other. like Anakin and Padme did.

Nice. In the original story, the chosen one is not him but his grandson who's name is also Anakin, son of Leia and Solo. I wish they made movies with that.

What "original story"? The New Jedi Order series? Not so much. Lucas has said that Anakin Skywalker is, and has always been, the Chosen One.

Make some research. Before the first movies, the whole story was written. Lucas changed it to adapt it to 3 movies. I don't know anything about "The New Jedi Order".
