Just saw the Young at Heart documentary - truly life-affirming stuff when tattoed jailbirds can no longer hold back their restrained sobs to becomer whimpering girly men during Forever Young! Like the Bueno Vista Club they will just keep livin life to a natural high
swaying to the music, loving it. By the way children I am not a cute old person; I am just a very young gal who happens to be in a 77 year old bod. Kira
This absolutely warms my heart. It's not exactly in tune but how sweet that David Byrne sang with this group. I hope I have this experience one day. It just shows no matter how old we are, we can still express ourselves through music. I love you David Byrne. You are an awesome guy!!
Best documentary/movie that I have seen in I can't even remember when. Came straight from putting the dvd back in the envelope and to youtube to look up their music! Way to go.
"One fine day, In these troubled times...." I .just heard U.S President Barack OBAMA talking about his hopes for equal pay for men & women...this song came too mind... Thank you.Regards. jo
David Byrne is a great, great man. I wish we saw and heard more from him. This video is just beautiful. I hope someone will make another documentary about Young@Heart.
Haha that lady on the right could have been his mother for all we know: the way she encouraged him and took his hand. But older ladies are kind and loving like that so maybe not.
David Byrne is such a cool guy. He will never reunite with The Talking Heads where he could make a million dollars for a reunion tour, but joyfully sings with Young@Heart. What a guy.
Beautiful performance and example of humanity. I've always admired David Byrne for taking the lesser traveled roads in music. Much respect for Mr. Byrne and the Young At Heart Chorus!
How great that they can actually branch out and perform original rock music with artists like Dave Byrne. I wonder if he got the idea after hearing them peform the Talking Heads' "Road to Nowhere?"
See the Young@Heart movie - everyone!!! You willnot regret it.
David Byrne rocks - so does Bob Cilman and every person who is in Young@Heart amd is just you and me but older - get a clue - that's what this is about.
This is AMAZING!!!! I just heard of this group, last Friday, on the evening news, and I am fortunate enough to live in L.A. where they will be preforming at the Wilshire Theater, Beverly Hills, April 17th. You can bet I will be there, front and center! These people are precious. LONG LIVE Rock and Roll!!!!
bless you David Byrne

This comment has received too many negative votes show
that's agonising caterwauling. How out of tune is Byrne at the start...

True but you can see him every few years on tour making great music and doing some talking heads songs.
Some things are not about money. I am glad Robert Plant won't get back together with Zeppelin.
They made their mark on the world and don't want to be living in the past and neither does Byrne. He visits the past but does not live there.

young@heart is what rock'n'roll is really about -- people feeling good!
and david is such a nice guy! -- did you see him instinctively adjust the mic stand for the young lady?
