My question to Sabineman74 is: "Who are you correcting, Jp97rock?". If so then,
1. It's a given that solo artists, like every artist in the business enlist the help of others for every project they work on and albums they put out and
2. Unless I'm mistaken, the song was written in Minneapolis where Prince is from and where Mac had either been scheduled to do a show, or was there for other reasons and I think there was a blackout happening as well

keeping Mac in his hotel room with a lit candle and a guitar to do some entertaining and write songs like "Calico Skies" and "If You Wanna", but that's where the connection between Prince and Mac's song ends, is that it all took place in Prince's homestate, and on that premise only.

correction: it was mostly paul. he had help from people like george starkey(ringo) steve miller james mccartney and a whole lot of thers. but, its still a great album :)

Well, most solo artist have other musicians play curtain parts on there albums, but usually the only person is credited.
Like if im listening to a John Lennon solo album im gonna say this is a great John album not this is a great album them.
