There is a legit way to get Knux+Tails (Tails traitor!! XD) albeit for a very short portion of the game.
In Marble Garden 2, there's that moment where Sonic and Knux's path branch. Well, if you use the blue spinning top, however, you CAN get Knux to Sonic's path. Then you fight Sonic's boss, and lo and behold, TAILS of all randomness comes to help you! He vanishes at Carnival Night 1 though.
lbbrian, no such code can exist. Only a hack can do so, and only with lots of editing.
The reason for that is that the engine limitations can't handle the team of Sonic+Knux. You can make them, but without excessive hacking, their sprites will keep overwriting each other for two blue Sonuckles (dynamically switching between Sonic and Knux)
But I also am not. I'm just telling you about the results from code-abuse in Nineko's "funny teams video" -- as soon as you get Sonic+Knux together, they both turn blue and swap between Sonic and Knux at each animation.
@minimarcus2 I remember always wishing for that so long ago!!! Then a few years ago Sonic Heroes came out. I like it but in the end it doesnt beat this.
i know that there is a red sonic and blue knuckles code but could you tell me the code for knuckles and tails please? i could use it in some of my vids (if i do i will give credit to you for the code on the video)
