i'm sorry but...what about triangular face shape? mine is larger in the front and narrower in the chin of course.... where i should highlight n contouring?? i hope u'll reply :)

@ilarap Always contour the more prominent areas & highlight anywhere you want to bring attention to or make appear bigger. So you could contour your 'front' area & highlight around the jaw line. Just keep this type of highlight matte of course!! x

Hey, fab vid thankyou. One thing that confuses me, obviously where youre shading is where you should apply your blush. Would you still need to use blush over this? Or would this be instead of. Id be really greatful if you could respond.

Thanks for posting this video, you go into fantastic detail about face shapes and how to manage flaws. I just ordered a contouring palette so I'll definitely be referring back to this video again. This kind of makeup application is a much better alternative to considering surgery haha.

Ya of course!! Place it above the contour on the apples of the cheeks usually but this will change from face to face depending on shape too!!

Great tutorial, you look beautiful! I have a square face and always round out my cheeks when contouring. You're right about having flatter cheekbones, as I have no definition whatsoever lol

Also, I have a flat bridge and my nose is a little wider at the bottom like yours, so I tend to have to contour that area as well.

I had kind of an epiphany about contour colors the other day, and thought this video would be a perfect time to share it....I bought the entire line of $1.00 face powders from ELF, there are six shades, lightest to darkest, and have been using the darker shades, which are matte and pigmented, but easy to blend, for contouring myself and clients. It's perfect because they're sooo cheap and reallt do a great job!

thanks for this tip! SOme of the powders on the market make you look like Frankenfurter if you are fair skinned! The Bobbi Brown bronzer in Natural is good too, it's totally matte and you get loads of product. But it is fierce expensive. I'll have to check out ELF they seem to have great stuff

Super great vid, very extensive and you explain everything in ways all of us can understand. I can remember first getting this done at a makeup counter (i wont say where) but i could see dark triangles on my cheeks and dark oblong circles at my temples which scared me from attempting this for years lol!
