  • MDX 2011 rocks.

  • eh there was a speed limiter on that, with the rate it was hauling ass at, im sure it could go 140 maybe a bit more

  • 120 is not the top speed of the MDX. i know since i raced the FX35 and i did 125mph in the NJ tpk and it wasn't stopping either. i'm thinking the top speed is 130. i just havent' tried that.

  • Wow, didn't expect it to be this quick. Sounds great too!

  • max speed in 4th gear and that's 2 more to go!

  • Nice Car!

  • But its just a pity that its AT. Automat is so gay. Only MT!

  • My Twin Turbo X hits 0-60 in only 4.28 seconds, at about 540BHP @ 410ft/lbs torque. Quite the 'soccer mom' Racing legend XD

  • now this thing, hauls ass.

  • Seven-seater, 0-60 in under seven seconds, and with the tech package roughly 46 grand. Also, rides like a Range Rover, but much much much much much more reliable than one... What would you pick?

  • VEeeeeeeTEEECH POOOOWWWWEEERRR

  • Great SUV, I just wish Honda made these V6 motors quite a bit more torquier and more fuel efficient. It takes quite a bit of enjoyment out of the vehicle if you have to floor it every time to pass someone on the highway. I've been driving a 2003 Lexus Gx470 for years and not only does it sound better with the V8 but is much torque and just as if not more fuel efficient.

  • bmw x5 goes 0-60 in 4.0 second

  • @ridosha No it doesn't. The X5 M, which is the fastest X5 and costs about $90,000, does it in 4.5. But most people have the 6 cylinder gasoline X5 which does it in 6 seconds. The diesel does it in 6.8, and the V8 does it in 5.3.

  • we got my friend's to 135

  • @kamich56 Dude, this isn't a sports car. It's a luxury, 7-seater, 4600 pound SUV that happens to perform well. I don't think anyone buys this car for the sole reason to go fast. If they did, they'd be a fucking moron. When compared to the rest of it's competition, the MDX fares quite well. Comparing an SUV with a sports car is just asinine. Two completely different markets.

  • My Golf 2.5 240km/h hahah idiot

  • Well My MDX drivers, I feel the MDX with enough power and aerodynamic to do the 240 KM/H (150MPH) stock and without the speed limiter. Supercharged Range Rovers do 0-60 MPH in about the same time this SUV does. I Can't believe its a V6

  • VTEC JUST KIKED IN YO!

  • @integymike00 YO!!!

  • @MarcelodelagoXD that's awesome! 150 mph is more than I thought it could do, stock. But I do agree with Masarati7200 about the tires. Make sure your friend replaces those "H" speed rated tires with "Z" rated.

  • @brahda808 Yeah, I got one also, but nevermind driving at that speed! hahaha. Yes he did, he installed new rims and High performance tires. I think they're Michelin or Pirelli.

  • Hav a 2010 mdx with adv/ent. package, and its sweet!!!

  • 0-60 in 6.2 sec. !!! Great!!

  • @Maserati7200, yep, upgrading the tires is a must, which is why I suspect Acura selected 120. Our stock "H" speed rated tires are good til 130. Safety first. Another reason might be to keep the cost if the vehicle down too.

  • I got an 08, and it does have a limiter at 120. When you hit it, it throws you forward out of your seat. I think you could easily do 140-145 if the limiter could be removed. Looks like there was enough room on the tach before redline.

  • @brahda808 Yeah maybe. But you'd need to upgrade the tires to go that fast.

  • @brahda808 My friend has a 2010 acura MDX without the limiter, he hacked the computer osr something like that.. The Acura without modification (exept removing the limiter) was 242 KM/H

  • @marcelodelagoXD If that's true, he shouldn't go faster than 130 MPH (209 Km/h) unless he upgrades the tires.

  • @Maserati7200 Fuck knows where he got those tires, but they are high preformace. I think they're Michelin or Pirelli.

  • @Maserati7200 Quick question, maybe stupid but have to ask, why ? and what could happen if your going 180-200km on pretty bald tires on any car not just MDX, like the worst that could happen Thanks.

  • @ShowBusiness90 Blow tires, lose control, crash, and probably death.

  • @marcelodelagoXD I don't know if the tires would blow, but yeah what he said. Pretty stupid idea.

  • @Maserati7200 Yeah man, tires going over their speed limit will heat up and blow... that happened to my other cousin...

  • hey bud. why did you stop at 120mph? you can go faster than that. i tested my mdx at 125mph with the infiniti FX35. definitely Acura is much more powerful. My acura by the way was a 2007 so i'm sure the infinity that i beat was along the line of the same year. the new FX now has a bigger HP although i know for a fact that nissan/infiniti has a special delimiter. i used to drive a pathfinder and the max speed with the delimiter is 120mph

  • @suprmax I ran out of runway, but I'm pretty sure the limiter maxes out at 120 MPH on the 2010 model anyway.

  • Hey, thanks for subscribing. Btw I'm thinking of taking my car to Floyd Bennett Field to try this out... is it legal?

  • @dadsoldtapes It's probably not legal but there is very little possibility you get caught. And if you do get caught it would probably just be a slap on the wrist at worst. You have to do it on the runways that are blocked off from everyone else.

  • @Maserati7200 I see you didn't show anything but the dashboard on this vid... guess you wanted to stay under the radar?

  • @dadsoldtapes Not really, I just thought showing the gauges would be more important to the video

  • yo man love it i know a kid anmed jared hamburg who supercharged his 2004 mdx. matt mercer helped him do it cus matt mercer completely customized his jeep. love it bro. keep going

  • DAMN YO! HOLLAAAAAAAAA THAT WHIP IS QUICK SON! HOLLA BACK NUKKA!

  • yo man love it i know a kid anmed jared hamburg who supercharged his 2004 mdx. matt mercer helped him do it cus matt mercer completely customized his jeep. love it bro. keep going

  • whats the warning light? battery?

  • @flnycus The car was due for an oil change and maintenance

  • Oh nvm, it's an i not a !

  • It's probably not a good idea for an inexperienced individual to drive like that with both hands on the wheel, much less with one hand holding a video camera. On a side note, what's that yellow ! indicator for?

  • @nnj3k I was actually holding the steering wheel with two hands, but my right hand also was gripping the camera. I did this on an abandoned air strip with literally no one around. That yellow/orange ( i ) you see is an indicator for maintenance. The car needs an oil change soon.
