Burtonwood to St Helens UK

Drove past the old airbase last week to shockingly find that it has all been levelled... lived in burtonwood and worked at hangar 7a fairly briefly... had the opportunity to sleep there for a couple of nights until i got the keys to my rented house in burtonwood.... kid you not people that place was genuinely haunted !!! cant believe it has all been levelled...

Was the motorway part of the runway or something? I used to go bowling there in in the early 80s.

Yeah, I heard that too about that part of the M62. That the bridge could be dismantled and the road used as a runway !!

Used to work at hangar 7a at burtonwood back in 1998 as a forklift driver, memories... some people say its haunted ( i for one know its fking haunted !)

nah i reckon theres still stuff in burton wood airbase you drive hang around long enough the milatry police show up for ya it also looks like part of the runway go onto/under the moterway
