hey... hope yers is better too! i have another 50 cells in the spare bedroom but have been too tied up making my car able to do 150 mph plus again... LOL anyway.. I had a brain fart and should have done a 36 cell panel so what I ended up with is a trickle charger.

Are you basing the loss on peak power or average power? 30 watts is not bad for flat angle reception.  Try tilting the cells and see if the wattage increases.

I was commenting on the quality of the cells. tabbing wires lifting off and also could not resolder most of them. many chipped and cracked cells too.
