Dipstick, it's not anglers destroying fish numbers.. it's the trawlers with their bottom dragging nets ripping up the bottom and every marine species that enters those nets dies big and small. That is a good catch of bream and it means there was a school of bream down there probably probably numbering in the thousands and dont forget there is a short window of opportunity for catching bream depending on the tide, water condition, wind direction and time of day. Geez there r some wankers about.

Asian fish? There caught in the Yarra River in Melbourne, Australia. There are thousands of them round the docklands. I wouldn't eat them though because the water is filthy and the bream feed on crusties round the docks. Scientific studies have found these fish to have toxins in them and if your going to eat them, to limit consumption to 1 a month. There great to fish for on plastics and light gear. But its definately catch and release for me. I ain't gonna eat anything that lives in that area.
