Running and executing plays is the best way to get the highest % shot attempt and exposing strong options of your offense. The better you get at executing plays, the more effective your offense will be.

No, it's not in their playbook. Each team's playbook varies. Sometimes you'll find the same plays in other team's playbooks and sometimes you wont.

in my 76ers asoc i changed some of the plays that were assigned default to the controler buttons(beluba screen and baseline stack)with other plays(curiosity).now it's imposible to put this plays back because beluba and baseline doesn't apear int the playbook! But i repeat, these 2 plays are default assigned if i play a quick match...what should i doi?i want beluba and baseline back!

In order to fix that, you must create another VIP or delete/reset the current VIP. Once you've saved the playbook adjustments on a VIP, there's no way to change DEFAULT plays back without them being in the team's original playbook.

Please help me!!! I've added ariza to the lakers. Now all my plays are down with Odom, and not with Fisher! Why is that? How do I decide who lead the play? I wannna use my PG

Odom plays the Point-Forward on that team and brings up the ball on a regular occasion (especially last year). You must icon switch to your PG and inbound the ball to him. Then call the play right when he gets it. Another team with this exact situation is Cleveland (Lebron playing Point-Forward).

I've tried that already but when I call the play with Fisher the first action force you to pass the ball with Odom (yellow ring).

It seems to debends on who receive the ball in the inbounds

Just go to the offensive playbook of the team and watch what diagram. The play runs and each colored line shows what to do.

If you dont have an advantage, a fast break opportunity, a mis-match, etc, then you run a play. You dont have to run plays every possession.

Press Right on the Digital Pad to bring up 8 plays that you can choose from. You can set them in Coaching --> Playbook --> Offense.

Great info...this has really helped my game. Instead of just running/gunning I run set plays 3/4 of the time--I always thought that you had to follow the play ALL the way through but from the videos i see that execution opens up the entire crt if i have a good midrange gme...again, thanks

When Im playing good players they tend to get alot of steals when im imbounding the ball or they leap in air in transition like madden swat. I try to do the same thing , I get in great position but the ball seems to go right thru me or I always just miss, Is there more to this than just hitting X ? are u using right alolog? turbo?

It's more of a timing issue than anything. If you're off in timing the steal, the slightest bit, you'll miss it. Also, move the Left-Thumstick in the direction of the pass or where the ball is being thrown to. Your player will move in that direction and get better position for the steal attempt.
