Funny thing about Murdoc is he never really wanted to kill MacGyver because he only put MacGyver through things that he knew he could get out of...He liked to toy with MacGyver. Kind of like Optimus and Megatron (except the killing part) they never died and if they did, they were brought back to life as if they were destinged to fight each other.
