  • I'm Italian,

I'm sorry but there isn't anything of italian in these dishes!

And pls don't call carbonara that strange thing!!!

  • This is a terribole!! Is a nightmere come to italy to eat godo italian food!

  • mmmmm a carbonara..... is always a carbonara =D

but i never eat a fish dish like that :S

  • That storehouse was fascinating; great to see it being so tastefully 'recycled'!

Am pleased you included the food too. Often, well decorated restaurants are better to look at than eat at, but that food really seemed to match the quality of the decor. Very enjoyable video, thanks Mr JCD!

  • I find it interesting how almost every country is eating with spoon.

  • I'm hungry now.

  • The toasts are called "Bruschetta", but is pronounced like "brusketta".

  • The most amazing thing about those old buildings is that they don't have a single nail in them- all the timbers are fitted together like Lincoln logs. The food looks incredible... their take on non-Japanese foods is always intriguing.

  • Where in Japan is this place, does anyone know.

  • the toasty things are called brushetta

  • bacon :D

  • It looks German

  • it is true! they are all Italian dishes! However, in Italy the portions are much larger. In Italy we are gluttons ihihih xD

  • nobody says the best italian food or french food is in japan. make shit up much?

  • @BlueHen123 How do you know? I'm sure you've traveled all around the world inquiring on peoples opinions on where the best italian and french food is, right?......right? Ohhhhh you haven't, so your comment was just based on assumptions that the entire population of the world agrees that the best italian and french food is NOT in Japan.

  • That rang my Pavlovian bell... thanks

  • ive heard japan is very focused an tend to be quality oriented when it comes to food and that if it werent for the food a lot off salary men would have no reason to live here in the states only the mom and pop places really try hard when it comes to food or atleast thats how it seems to me

  • That building in incredible! It's well built and very beautiful.

  • PENGUIN!

  • 4:30 Dat fish... it looks like fish is alive

  • I know you get these kind of comments all the time but I just wanted to reiterate how much your videos are appreciated! I am a third-year university student majoring in Japanese language and culture studies and watching the videos you make helps me so much. I really enjoy the vast variety of topics that you cover, and that you are respectful of their culture. So thank you very very much for all the hard work you do for us!!

  • all that food looks delicious

  • Very nice thank you for the video.

  • Wow, you can keep the fish with the head on, picky eater here. The beef looked good, bread and deserts looked yummy. Loved the building. I want to visit Japan so much, I watch your videos at least 3 times.

  • How much was it?

  • @Bigben2u I'd like to know as well. How much would a meal at a restaurant like that go for?

  • Yummy

  • Looks ridiculously tasty, though the portions quite small (no, I'm not American) and must cost a small fortune in Japan!

  • I almost thought the fish was alive and it was gonna move! CREEPY

  • you ate all of them?

    WOAHHHH

  • really cool looking place and food looks delicious

  • lovely

  • Looks expensive. Probably over 10000 yen?

  • Another classic example of making your viewers hungry. ;)

  • 3:08 Bruschetta?

  • @Flargenyargen you cant call everything that is on bread a bruschetta.

  • @hitachi088 I'm not much on italian food, but it looks like bruschetta. My bad. Haha.

  • from the tiny amount on the plate, one can tell it was a pricey meal.I'd rather go to dinners and get my moneys worth. I loved the building though. We have a warehouse in town here in Philadelphia,Pa.,U.S.A. called the Spaghetti Warehouse which is like that but not as fancy in the structure. Thanks for sharing! Happy Armistice Day!!

  • Looks nice but they have real Italians cooking the food?

  • @mellowsky47

One doesn't need to be Italian to cook a delicious plate of pasta! lol

  • @violansky pasta was invented by the Chinese so I guess not.

  • mmmm

  • omg. there is so much fire hazard, or so much fire proof chemistry!

it looks pleasant, but I prefer metal, concrete, ceramic and stone.

  • Over a 100 yrs old..Could be haunted

  • :o wow! awesome...just awesome! Every video, another thing I want to see or do, or even eat! I wouldn't know what to get there know xD eating the (braised? I think) beef with chopsticks would have been a joy, though.
