Beverly is a BEAUTIFUL and talented lady. This is a good version. The only thing that pisses me off (and I speak for a few Robyn fans on this one) is the fact that Jive (Robyn's then label) didn't release this song in Britain but gave it to Beverly. Not Bev's fault, but the company screwed Robyn with her own music. I prefer Robyn's version (as I'm a fan) but I will give Ms Knight her due as she is a unique talent.

WOW....what's with all the haters?!?! I'll admit...I didn't know this was a cover. I only just discovered BK cuz for some F*CKED UP reason she's not well known here in the US. But, after listening to Robyn's version (who I had never heard of either...WTF?!) although good....Bev's got the HEAT on this one.

Sidenote: The choreography in this vid is horrid. A remake with some REAL hip hop choreography would be sweet.

If you can do a YouTube search for Robyn Fristil...you'll be glad you did and I agree the choreography in this vid is laughable...Maybe Ms. Knight's friends all wanted to be in the vid...and the choreographer had to factor in that they couldn't dance?

Strange. If Robyn sucks so much why did Beverly cover her song in the first place...and what's more use most of the same vocal riffs?
