I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer 2 1/2 yrs ago. He was a worship leader and the Easter before he passed, he led our church choir singing this song. His memorial service was on Sunday morning and the church choir sang this song again. He rose to Jesus, fell on his knees and is in no more pain. Thank you Chris Tomlin for this amazing song!

I LOVE THIS SONG!!! I never really paid attention to his voice but GOD DID give him a wonderful voice and he is using it to worsip the maker of it all!!!!!
does anyone else find it disconcerting to see that no one in the audience seems to feel the inclination to get and worship? whenever i hear the phrase "Worthy is the Lamb" i cannot help but get up and cry to God. Not trying to be a voice of dissent but I just thought it very strange to not worship during a worship song...
@gioshmedina They can show reverence and adoration in their seats, can they not? The act of "worship" does not necessarily involve raising your hands and screaming at the top of your lungs.

This song is so true, my mama passed away on April 17th, 2009 and in our losing her and seeing the life she lived,
the many souls that her testimony influenced gives me confidence in knowing that the grave is overwhelmed. Even at her funeral the life she lived, impacted those at the service and I believe seeds have been planted and a harvest will come from her testimony. He will call her name and she will rise. Love ya and miss ya, mama! I will meet you on the other side in Jesus name!
Chris Tomlin...what can be said about him? He's amazing!! God has given him such a gift of song and music! I LOVED seeing Chris at Life Light last year! AMAZING!!

Nd it reminds me of my uncle too. He died months ago from cancer but praise God that he turned back to God nd iknow ill be seeing him someday.
