When Bruce and Adrian came back to band, Janick was still in the band but Blaze had to go away. Haha, If Blaze and Bruce both would be in Maiden... it would be fantastic! UP THE IRONS + BLAZE !!!
The best dutch beer? Its all piss man! thats not beer! Beer has more than ten percent alcohol in it! This is softdrinks..Grolsch the best beer? No fucking way!
REAL beer has more than pissy 4 procent, mate. For centuries people have made stronger beers, only the past few decades its turned into softdrinky piss.
I have to agree, the 'truth' according to 'men' claiming to be 'Christine', who told them of her 'Vision'. With all you 'fanbois' that are blinded by lies, I just KNOW you'll attack ME now!, (just one REAL 'Woman' alone' that does NOT 'agree' with any of the plagiarist frauds and the HELL they create!) So this post won't be here for long, as any dissent is obliterated!
I don't mind this allbum. It's not that bad. Personally, my least favorite album by far would have to be "Virtual XI". That album is just really wierd and the lyrics are pretty childish: "Don't you think I'm a savior. Don't you think I could save You." Come on you guys. That doesn't hold a candle to "And his eyes are ablaze. See the madman in his gaze!"
But The X Factor is probably the better of the two Blaze albums. For the size of the shoes that Blaze had to fill, he did a pretty good job.
I woulnd't even call them metal fans, they probably just listen to Number of the Beast and Run To the Hills, they know nothing about Maiden. The X Factor is with out a doubt their best album from the 1990s, far superior than NPFTD or FOTD.
cause he rly couldnt cover all of maiden's older stuff as well. maidens got a deticated fanbase thats willing to get wat they want. i mean, x factor was made for blaze. but since he wasnt as good with maiden's older stuff, rumors spread and now people say he sucks. he wasnt as good in maiden, but hes a great singer.

steve seems kind of nervous towards the end when he is talking about the compatition! He belongs on stage not on camera! Iron Maiden Rock however brave new world was better than x factor!
Pretty cool video with quite the theatrics for an album launch party..Nicko must be in party mode, though, because at 1:50-1:53 he wonders what track the ladies confession booth represents..that must be "Judgement of Heaven" since it has to do with religious confession! Or WAIT..maybe it's "the Unbeliever" since the seductive ladies represent a parody on a confession booth? I wonder what they did for "2 AM".. how'bout Vic Vella in a recliner in his underwear, snoring, surrounded by beer cans :)
deraickripper: i disagree, I don't think Bruce solo work sucks, but I respect your opinion. Blaze: well, maybe his solo work it's good, but for me he sucks trying to sing Bruce era songs in Maiden.
wow what a fucked up party. Much more decadent than I'd imagined Maiden to be but hey, I guess those were the Blaze years! I have lots of love for Blaze, but for me, Maiden is truly an unstoppable force when Dickenson is involved.
sign of the cross is one of theee best songs from the 90's thanks to steave harris same as caught somewhere in time in the 80's ,bruce was just a singer and not the best singer at all he did ok with his solo stuff but only 1 or 2 songs were good in each album not like v11 or x factor where every song was amazing apart from angel n the gambler wasnt 2 good at the end of the day maiden is maiden who ever the singer is the music is the best part of maiden and allways will be
You see, Bruce left Maiden thinking he would become Uber-successful as a solo artist, but Bruce's solo stuff sucked and didnt sell good, so in 99 he finally realized "hmmmmm maybe I should have never quit Maiden" and there you have it. Real simple.
I think you haven't heard Bruce's solo stuff. He wasn't the core of Maiden or anything like that but if you compare the X Factor and Virtual XI to Accident of Birth and Chemical Wedding I think it's obvious who was writing better music in the 90s. But yeah Steve is generally a better writer it has to be said when you consider his stuff from the 80s. So yeah, it's a stretch to say he had some big realisation and went back, it was a mutual thing.
Pffhht.. They may not have been very successful albums, but everything Bruce put out in the 90's (except for maybe skunkworks) was better than anything Maiden put out in the 90's..
Listen to Balls to picasso, Accident of Birth and Chemical wedding dude.. They will blow you away!
Nah both Bruce and Adrian left Maiden to persue solo careers, obviously Maiden felt hard done by that. But check out Adrian Smith's stuff, it's so 'Somewhere in time'!! Fantastic!
"This is Bruce Dickinsons face when he hears the new album" this is a bit strong dont you think so??,I mean, bruce left the band but wasn't with bad purpose i hope
it kind of was with bad intentions dude. apparently near the end of the fear of the dark tour he was barely even trying the songs, so nicko and steve were super pissed
i don't really think it was blaze's fault but steve's; even blaze didn't come to replace bruce's place but to be maiden's singer steve should have thought that he wouldn't be able to reach those high tones from bruce
I love X Factor, strangely underrated....

My favorite Iron Maiden album, darker and deeper than every other Maiden album.
You guys should check out Blaze' solo career, it's a lot heavier than Iron Maiden, sometimes almost thrashy, but still very melodic.

so guys who hate X-factor should stop calling themselves maiden fans or even metal fans in totallity
