@Belph3gor it's supposed to be low-fi. it's just chaotic. it doesn't matter how skilled of a guitarist you are, the guitar strumming and mid-high range notes are sullen and desolate. the screams sound like a swirl of rage, is he angry. is he upset?

just... sit back and think. why are they playing the notes they're playing? why -this- melody? why does the song not progress. why do the drums stay so slow?

@stefanbahaos Black metal. You'll appreciate it later on. There are different schools of thought on production and BM is notorious for poor production and grainy sound. It's raw, so it gives you the sense of sadness, doom, cold, folk storyline, dispair etc.

@daneliuk91 I agree there are formulas and results, but they DON'T make the music, they can help to make it better, but music is not just about closed formulas or procedures, they're more of a helping tool; just like the supossed painting techniques, but really paintings these days must be very close to standard procedures otherwise critics call em bad, forgetting what art really is about, expressing ideas, emotions or whatever
