  • I think the dog wasnt happy you drinking that water, LOL

  • Out of all the presentation I have seen on making a survival water filter this 1000% the best one yet.Excellent presentation.Very informative

  • I like it when I see a woman teaching survival skills.Show us men its not just a Macho thing

  • How many times can you run water through this before the charcoal and stuff needs replaced?

  • Gotta Luv Cajun Girls

  • I need to take u camping

  • You said remove the grass twice a day?

  • if i get lost in the woods, will you come and save me?

  • Really charming lady. God bless.

  • The site is being worked on. Will have it back up by Monday :)

  • Awesome video! Thank you for sharing this.

Any idea why the site is down??

  • Rad.

  • Website suspended.

  • The site is down...

  • lol cheerz for vid ,.having to drink 'lousiana' water , try large metal cone atop a drum & distil it , light fire under drum & put water in drum, & set something up under edge of cone to catch the purified water..u could make small ones out of old cans or big ones out of 44gallon drums.. juz boiling it doesnt even get the flouride out btw.

  • play in the grass here in mo.and you'll get chiggers -unless you use lye soap -that keeps the chiggers off

  • Good vid. Just a few recommended changes. First, try using coffee filters that way you can do away with the rocks and grass. Next, use more charcoal and less sand, that way the charcoal filters out more of the pollutants. And lastly, boil the water first, or if you have some with you, use bleach. One quarter teaspoon of bleach will purify one gallon of water and a gallon of water will keep you hydrated for a good while.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

  • Beautiful, brave and intelligent. It's nice to look for you. I wish you be happy.

  • very interesting...

  • She's a Keeper.....

  • Your dog is funny!

  • Oh, one more thing, Is it better to crush the charcoal some or use it in larger chunks?

  • @tbeltier either way will work but leave it in chunks

  • I'm glad you didn't die, I like your videos and want to see more. Keep up the good work.

  • I have great admiration for your survivalist spirit. Please make more video, you have charisma and style. Thank you for sharing.

  • I thought sand filters should be a couple feet deep. This is more of a particulate remover. Still should boil it if its this shallow.

  • @YiuTeub It's not really a sand filter. It's a charcoal filter with sand in it.

  • I got a idea.

You can drink from that filter.

Afterwards you can do a dance workout and I can sponge up your sweat and drink that.

Only works with attractive females. Do not try this with your buddy.

  • just to be safe, you should make sure you read up on parasites that may be found in the area and may grow and live slowly... :-) .. make sure dr. knows about water expiraments (ya its spelled incorrectly)... at your physicals... good video

  • I saw the video where you started the test using willow water against bought root hormone and you said you would pass on the results. I never could find the video showing how the test turned out. Anyone know where to find it or the results thanks

  • THANKYOU N NICE DOG ,DOG IS GOOD.CORRECT SIMPLE NATURE PURIFIER GHOST!

  • Play in the grass XD

    Nice video ('s)

    Bless

  • I wouldn’t recommend drinking rainwater due to the excessive amounts of aluminum and barium fro aerosols that are being sprayed in the name of geo-engineering. I have lab reports to prove it as do many other people.

  • just a quick note to add. heating water to 160-180 degrees is good enough to clean it. boiling water is wasting water in a survival situation. heat it til a good steam starts and thats it.

  • It should be moss, charcoal, sand, grass, or fern on top and you should boil and water that you use out of any river.... that filter wont take out microbes, or use water purification tablets, The other alternative that you could uses in this situation.... grass black unused garbage bag, string, sun.

  • Nice kitchen!

  • Besides being lovely and well spoken...YOU DRANK IT! Now that is a REAL woman. I know some men that would not have! Total respect. Awesome vid, thank you. ~Kev~

  • oh wicked! thanks. Do you know the technique to make chocolate milk?

  • the fair lady has a robin hood pouch ye thy see no bows.

  • cool video

  • hi w/ big thanks for detailing it demonstratively, & w/ confidence that it's basis for uncontaminated model to faucet perse. there's bonus assurance of you out in nature so we can contemplate how some of this's involved from pebbly soil to root & stalk til we reach watery harvests. since the term nature's filter's used in recommending those sources, this overlaps to open my ears to it clearer more than just said & nod. sometimes that needs to sink in too not just drink up either lol. ~ carolyn

  • love yalls vids.. my daughters have really gotten into them.. god bless yall...

  • you look like my mom when she was younger and awesome ill try this next time i go camping :)

  • Very attractive and knowledgeable young woman.

  • There is some sort of Sasquatch making noise at 2:34

  • @MMM1736 lol it's my dog

  • @MayeuxMinistries Your dog is cool, eats anything you give it.

  • GOOD job young lady, well done

  • great video, still need to boil it though. i got a LifeStraw for $20, weighs 2 oz, filters out bacteria and protozoa to EPA standards. two companies sell it in North America now, greenbeetlegear (USA) and earth easy (Canada).

  • yep!.. your as cute as puppy tracks in the mud carrol....do you like catfishing too.....

  • @huntslikeakid of course :) ... and thanks

  • What if your only choice is lake water from a spring in the ground below the lake?

  • @Street3Wise then you're starting with water that is less contaminated then the water used in this video so you're fine. This process will work for you.

  • Nice

  • Can I play in the grass with you, pleeeease.. :-)

  • Hate to say it, but your video appears to be glitched and will not go past 4 min 21 for me

  • carrol, how can you make salt water drinkable. i live on the gulf so the water that i would have access to will be gulf, sound, and bay. each carry their own set of nasty. lol Thanks for your help.

    Samantha

  • @chriscyr68 you can use a solar still, or a regular still. there are various ways to do this, just google it. you'll finds lots. :)

  • @chriscyr68 You go find a fresh water source, and you use this guide. Can't make saltwater drinkable in the bush.

  • Does rocks in the river work to?

  • that's one cute girl & dog! I like that water filtration method..can be applied almost anywhere

  • I really enjoyed watching this, Thank you... Just a quick question? I took survival classes a while ago and we dug semi large holes around a water source. We were told, although it can be cloudy, if the hole is deep enough and as far away from the source of water as possible, the sand, rock and earth acts a perfect filter. Water could be consumed direct from the hole. We used coffee filters to remove any larger debris. any comment?

  • Are you married? I think I'm in love. A beautiful woman into bushcraft? Count me in. Enough with the compliments and back to the subject at hand though. The more you use the filter the more efficient it becomes. I carry two bandanas in my bushcraft sling bag just for that purpose You fold them up and put them in the very bottom and they provide a final filtering of the dirt that works very well. :)

  • @Carrol75431 lol No I'm not married and thanks.

  • @MayeuxMinistries Carrol, I am assuming you are the beautiful young lady making all the helpful video's. You caught me with your willow water vs. commercial root stimulant. I saw the planting. Never saw the results you promised and I have searched. Would love to know the test turned out. nwjery@yahoo.com

  • Seems like it would be better just to boil the water instead of using sand filled with Giardia lamblia to filter it.

  • how does the water drip through if its corked?

  • would it work***

  • would it cork without coal??

  • @xxmelissalupin3599xx the coal is a toxin filter. You need the coal.

  • you refiltered the first batch but... you used the same cup! :P ideally, would you reccomend to use a new container/cup/dish/etc for that situation (or any really) or does it not really matter?

  • @ChuckHitler If you wipe it dry between uses, using the same container is fine.

  • I would like to know your intake on weapons for survival. Do you have any videos on them. GOOD LUCK

  • the methods i mentioned would be sufficient enough I've done it many times in all kinds of water, that's what these methods do they purify. Your right your way is not for the weekender. Yea someone could steal you jar to then what , always think positive. What would you do without that jar. OK you found it floating on the water. What if you were not around any water, you can never totally be prepared but if you have knowledge you have a chance.

  • is it ok to drink distilled water?

  • @juki0h yes distilled water is perfectly safe to drink. You can ad oxygen to it by pouring it back and forth from 2 separate containers a few times. This will make it taste more natural.

  • I love tomatoe's Hey what kind of dog do you have i heard it growl in the background. I could never go into the woods with you i would die of thirst waiting for water to drink. Technology. Let me see theres pills, clorox, ultra violet light, purifiers, ect, ect. i always have something on me. Your ways ok if you don't die first. lolol . HEY can you cook

  • @TinSoIdier this technique is not for weekend campers. It's for emergencies when you find yourself with nothing at your disposal. Pills and purifiers can be unavailable, stolen, or taken away but knowledge can not. It doesn't take very long and besides the methods you mentioned would not be sufficient for this water. They would be for most rural water sources in the more northerly states however.

  • nice vid, great info thanks ;0)

  • I love your instruction vids. Please talk more about water disinfection now that its been filtered. God bless.

  • very sexy angel

  • why you drank only a sip? isnt clean water>>>??????

  • WOULD THIS WORK FOR SALT WATER

  • @OsmanthaKing distilling is the best method for salt water

  • ladie my dear if you think because water taste good thats it's alright you will die. Most bad water doesn't have a taste.

  • gotta go i see a zombie

  • Instead of going thru all that just carry a weeny weeny small bottle with a dropper in it full of bleach. I would of had a couple of gallons done before you put the grass in.

  • their not rocks their stones

  • @TinSoIdier Tomato Toemato.

  • thank you

  • she needs her own show. Wow.

  • you shouldn't be smoking in these vids.....smoking hot, girl your got a tight little shape. oh and thanks for the water filtering info.

  • very informative,thankyou!.. btw if you ever want your vids to get a massive viewcount-just put on a bikini! your very attractive!-id certaintly play in the grass with ya!!...:)

  • LOL "we don't want to drink water out of this river" and your hear the dog drinking the water. Priceless :)

If only we had iron stomachs like dogs :/

  • These videos are amazing.

  • what if u have nothin but ur clothes, a knife, and the wilderness? oh ya a lot of ppl dont know that rain water isnt good for u because it can give u mercury poisoning.

    P.S. ur hot

  • Excellent video. Might save a life some day.

Except for the glass you used all natural materials. The Egyptian well was a very good idea.

I had thought of using a pant leg. IF you have a plastic bag open on both ends, tie off the pant leg, fill the bag with the same materials you used and add the dirty water. If it is very long it could get heavy so be ready to support it. If you don't have cups or glasses, scoop a hole in the ground, line it with leaves and it will hold some of the water.

  • Ewe you probably have worms now!!

  • thank you. :)

  • real good vid,ive been camping wild in the uk since i was a boy,my uncle who was in the army, would take me to the mountains of scotland for weeks on end and we would drink river water thru a muslim cloth packed with gravel and stone,i never once got ill,i have a vw camper now so it does it for me ha ha,but still good to know basic survival thanks for this.

  • nice video! very explanatory, it was funny when your dog started gulping water. lol

  • Awesome video! Thanks.

  • What if you have no charcoal, what would be sufficiant at chemical absorption? Looking at this as a surviving in the wild point of view.

  • @Death4Purpose just make some coal by burning any nontoxic hard wood like pecan or oak.

  • @Death4Purpose

I don't know what you mean by "chemical absorption", but instead of coal you can just use chemical sterilizers like iodine (though not if you're pregnant), chlorine dioxide, chloramine, UV light, hydrogen peroxide, ozone etc.

If you're too lazy to boil the water, that is. :D (Learn to rub sticks together!)

  • Another informative video! Thanks! I've been saving your videos under my "Survival Guide" playlist. I hope you do not mind :)

  • @UseYourThink not at all :) Information is meant to be shared :)

  • I love it. Sooo good.

  • Good, lucid video. I wish you had your own show. Lot of guy watchers! Some people say dump the first run, just use it to get rid of the loose stuff that makes it through the rocks, but it won't get back through again anyway, so what's the harm in using the first run like you did? As for the charcoal, is that all it takes? I would have thought more and some smaller on top. And, oh yeah, what Jahneimultieight said.

  • @Odhinn222 thanks. The more charcoal the better. You can't have too much. No harm in using the first run. Just a little safer and better tasting after a few runs.

  • Good, lucid video. I wish you had your own show. Instead of running it back through, after the first run, I think the first run or so should be dumped, since it serves to get the loose filter material of a new filter. Is that all the charcoal it takes, and no smaller nuggets above? I would have thought more charcoal. And, oh yeah, what Jahneimultieght said.

  • Good video. I would have thought more, and smaller, charcoal.

And, oh yeah, what Jahneimulieight said.

  • Good video. I would have thought more--and finer--charcoal.

  • i need you to survive....

  • @weiwei6969 lol awww

  • @MayeuxMinistries so...you have a bf? what's your #?:P

  • Love the vid's, proof of what i keep telling my nephew..." Rambo does not know evrything!" 

  • Will you marry me?

  • @jahneimultieight sure ...lol

  • @MayeuxMinistries Well in that case Im Jonny

  • Thanks for the video it was extremely useful. I wonder how clean the water is here in England though...

  • Could I use any sort of grass??

And can i be shure that it doesn't have any cemicals on it if its somewhere, where nobody lives for miles? (sorry about my english im swiss)

  • @Icewolf1993 I would recommend that you use cloth if it's available to be on the safe side. But if you don't have any to spare grass is safe. Just make sure that it's all "grass" and there are no other weeds or plants in it. The charcoal will absorb quite a lot of toxicity so just make sure to use a generous amount of coals and you'll be fine.

  • Comment removed

  • @Gokunama most "grasses' are safe but most "weeds" are poisonous.

  • @MayeuxMinistries - ah, sounds like that might be right. Perhaps the other info I read was from someone who didn't know the difference between grasses and weeds (not that I would be confident of knowing the differences either).

Oh yeah, and wanna marry you also :).

Keep the good vids coming. I'm subscribing.

  • @MayeuxMinistries - a few kinds of grass are poisonous, wish I knew how one could find it if it's safe grass to use or not. Informative stuff btw. thx.

  • Young lady (Sister), I am so proud of you for giving of your time and skill to help with survival training. I am praying that God bless you and your family for the kindness you are showing all of us. I have learned a lot from you. I cannot wait to harvest some wild thistle. Blessings, Preacher

  • How do you know the sand isnt contaminated???

  • @salizar1 sand is a filter. Just dig down a bit and it'll be clean, protected by the top layers.

  • great video. I love the fact that you mentioned boiling Water is actually not all that clean up north anymore, well not out of the rivers anyway. We have many underground rivers however where the water pours out of the moutians from underground; like straight out of the rock and I drink straight out of this all the time, any chance I get actually it tastes amazing and it is very clean. Thanks again. Playing in the grass was fun too :)

  • Nice vid. Great pointers.

  • Hi, can you tell us if this is safe with water that has giardia? I do understand this is for a survival situation when you have no choice, not just for camping ect however. Thanks cool video.

  • @marcjtdc It is for a "no other choice" situation but it will make the water safe even with giardia. Just boil it after to be extra safe.

  • back to the kitchen ?

  • Is there a way to sterilise water without boiling it?

  • @gangsterfromdaghetto yes, with either UV or chemicals. Boiling is the least toxic but chemical treatments are the most common method. Google "Water Purification Tablets" for easy to use pre-measured chemical tablets that are good to have around for emergencies.

  • Very good video.

I've seen some other people use a bandanna as the first layer, not sure if it helps filter the water or not.

  • @SavageArms357 Thanks. Yea, it does. I mentioned that using cloth would be better but if you don't have any to spare the grass works fine.

  • @MayeuxMinistries Ah, I probably shouldn't have skipped through the video to see the final product, Lol.

  • @SavageArms357 hahaha

  • interesting. Thanks for sharing

  • love you cuz i miss yall so much god bless

  • @chblasingame

Blessings back at ya and miss ya too.
