What a staggering act of genius this opera is. And only one hour. Incredible. When it was written (1911) it was entirely ignored.

Beautiful. I love this opera. But personally I prefer Kolonits and Kovács... also black and white movie is more... I don't know, sutiable. Generally, I can't stop watching that movie with Klára and Istvan... Don't know why... it mesmerises.. They sing and act sooo wonderfully.
