  • What is Pilot Training College like??? I have to attend an assessment in February costing £250, hope it isnt just a scam. Any idea what the FlyBe sponsorship entails???

  • At least they landed with the undercarriage down this time.

  • R u guys fucking serious with that hood??? That is so damn dangerous, your instructor should know better.

  • you need a lot of money if you want to be an airline pilot. Its out of reach of most people.

  • @oxo121 lol, but not for me ;P btw im only 16 :)

  • As I read my history books the Seminole.....[s] were VERY good pilots and in 1877 they attacked Custer but in the end he shot down all of them down.

  • how many points in leaving cert do you need for ppl at ptc

  • @aaronfsx As far as I know, points aren't too important although u need to have decent results in most of ur subjects

  • im 15 now but 16 in february and starting my PPL in february '10 its gonna cost bout 6,500grand and ive only got 2grand saved bt anyway once i have PPL done im hoping to go to PTC!!

  • hey im gonna attend that college and im also gonna be 16 in a few months can you give me some info bout The Modular Airline Pilot Programme

    thnx

  • hope you have a big bank account

  • wow that is so beautiful. different from where I fly

  • God I wish that was me up there. I cant wait to get out of college so i can earn some money for my PPl.

  • 'Demonstrated X-Wind' for the Seminole is 17 kt. You should have been able to nail the centerline, esp. with TWO of you 'flying'.

  • How much Euro does it cost to get your Commercial Pilots License?

  • with the pilot training school it costs €98,500

  • Thanks but I looked and you need to cough up more when you get a job as a pilot probaly to train you with the planes its like an extra €30,000! Men this shits expensive.

  • €75,000 .

  • What exactly does the course consist of and what is the total price?

  • I see some pilots recommending Oxford then Waterford, I am currently in a bit of a dilema which to choose, I'm Irish so i wouldnt mind waterford, but they say oxford has great employment out of it, could you comment on any of this, how did/are you finding the course, and if you finished it hows the job hunting goin, thanks.

  • Hi hows it going! Im currently studying in oxford and its very good the ppl are very friendly and ground instructors are top notch! i did go to ptc aswell for the assesment day and i thought they were good also but it was for the degree course and i thought they were charging a lot considering i can get a degree in oxford and atpls etc in half the time and considerably less money. My advice would be shop around see which you like training will prob be the same anywhere just diff names and reps

  • Would you recommend PTC? were you train at flight safety academy, Florida? I am considering doing my CPL after my PPL...

  • Excellent video David.

  • What a superb movie, and your choice of soundtrack is excellent. Great way to experience a flight from the armchair.
