  • i just got the Stug III Aust.G today and it looks like a nice clean kit.

  • i'm a begginer, i think i'll go for 1/48 models,

for me they look cool, and occupy less space.

thanks tamiya, hope build more 1/48 tank series.

  • One thing still missing in 1/48 is modern military vehicles. There are Humvees at the moment, but until then the 1/35 scale remains the only choice for modern tanks. But what makes 1/48 better is finished models as Tamiya has not made any completed vehicles for the 1/35 masterwork collection in years.

  • meh i like 1/35 scale better than 1/48 but i use 1/48 for dioramas mainly

  • The models from Tamiya, Trumpeter and Dragon are the best!!

  • these are impossible to build...so freakin small

  • This video makes me cry

  • 1/48 Scale is an excellent compromise and will one day overtake 1/35. Here's why:

    1) 1/48 takes up less space than 1/35

    2) 1/48 is less expensive then 1/35

    3) 1/48 is equal to Railroad O Gauge for endless diorama possibilities

    4) 1/48 is the most popular scale for model aircraft and are complemented by 1/48 AFV's.

    5) 1/48 is more attractive to entry-level modelers due to their ease of assembly and lower cost.

    6) Tamiya set the standard with 1/35 - they will set a new one with 1/48.

  • Oh, sorry

I was talking about World war 2 model,

  • 1/48 is the best but it's hard to find different model except for planes...

If you want more choice take 1/35

  • No acurate MODERN tanks in this scale. You'd need to go to 1/72 or 1/35 for that.

  • Keep on losing the tiny parts...no fun, takes the fun out of modelling.

  • You can pick up "lost" parts by mounting a piece of nylon stocking (pulled tightly and held in place by using rubber bands) over the end of a vacuum cleaner. Just move the mouth piece of the vacuum cleaner over the suspected area that you think the part may be lying with the sucktion set to "high".

  • I find 1/35 is too big, more choice but too big, I like 1/72 but a bit fiddly.

  • I think so to

but 1/72 is only in foreign

    so 1/45 is a best

  • i bought the TIGER I today (early production) so will be building that as my first project, my second project is revell's 1:144 type VII C uboat which i will be doing it on the design of U96, wil be painting the TIGER I in german grey like tamiya had it...

  • The model I hate most is itareli.

  • Very beautiful even the details. 5*

  • I use Tamiya TS and AS spray cans to paint my Tiger I. Is it okay to drybrush and make a wash with Tamiya Acrylics on my model? Also can I seal it with future floor polish befor I wash and drybrush? Tamiya spray cans are laquer paint.

  • i like the 1/48 but if you want something cheeper the 1/72 is the one

  • gooder all around.

  • but 1/72 loses detail. no offense but 1/35 is the most practical for tanks

  • It´s the "perfect" scale, not too big but still big enough for plenty of visible detail (parts easier to hold on to, too)! -My all time favorite scale!!! :-)

  • i like the hetzer and i want to see a 1/48 sfdkz 221 halftrack :)

  • WOW! A dream come true, perfect 1/48 scale armor models to go with our hard built 1/48 scale airplanes. 1/48 it's my favorite scale and Tamiya my favorite brand.

  • ok, I'm up to 40 kits now and, still everything's smooth...love it :) with 2 more kits on their way (keep em ww2)

  • this video is great !!!! five *S*T*A*R*S*

  • I built 25 of this 1:48 scale so far, and have not found a single part that did not "fit in" correctly...so yes, I am very impressed with tamiya's superb high quality indeed:)

  • 早くT-28とT-35を出してくれ。

    ドラゴンワゴンもな

  • I got the Tiger tank but it needs some painting

  • only one hope from me is when tamiya makes titanic or lusitania in big scale.

  • u should try thi one they are so kool

i love 1/35 but this ones look more realistic and stuff they also have weith

i have my own hobby store try it one time!

  • I wanna see a late version Tiger I.

  • @BOROCKHARDJR tamiya has a 1/35 scale one

  • Great video of the models. But I'd like to see Tamiya produce models from the Pacific Theater as well.

  • I think tamiya makes maeby the best military models :)

  • great vid! hopefully tamiya will release all modern armor and support vehicles to modern 48th series. cheers from IPMS Philippines Bert Anido!
