@ProgPianist Hello,in fact there are programs that allow you to equalize the track so you can manipulate the volume like Cool edit pro, Adobe Audition, etc. But as far as I know you can't totally mute the drums track or vocals track if you don't have the original song in separate tracks, in this case I made the backing track using midi for the bass, drums and guitar and then I recorded the keyboards. I recommend you to download/buy Cubase and use VST instruments to create your own backing track.
