If you watch Elvis in concert, Elvis had a rough time talking especially his Vegas shows in 69'. He was breathless and just blurted words out whatever gets to his mind. But how come here he didn't have a difficult time with the scripts and the talking?

I always thought this and king Creole were the best Evis films, they showed he really could act, despite being put in a lot of really bad formula movies. I wish he'd been given some more serious roles instead of just being put in things to make a quick profit.
