Israel broke the truce put in place by Egypt, by arresting 6 Hamas members and provoking them to react. When Hamas started firing rockets, they had many justifiable reasons for it (although Iv read and seen in various websites, that the Israelis were doing this & showing to the world as if Hamas were doing it). One of the reasons is not to react to the provocation but to fight the perverse siege which prevents/ed the Palestinians from receiving food, electricity, gas and water supplies.
