How does the battle encounter system work? Is it random encounter?

Are there any tournaments like in Monster Rancher?

What can you do after you beat the game for replayability(besides trying to catch all the invizimals)

there are clubs to bet but i dont know about tournaments there may well be never got that far in to the game outher game came out and i not had time to go back to this one
