I believe they do, just use more robust, sophisticated and expensive models.
Yes this one is controlled via WiFi, so you can control it from anywhere in the world. Unfortunately the camera in this model is wireless, so good for 300 feet only.
Actually I'm building a new model that will be slightly more expensive but allow "completely remote" property monitoring. I'll post new video, OS and DIY instructions a bit later, stay tuned.

:) There is such site, but it's for my eyes only.
You can build another routerbot for yourself and you will be the only one to control it (unless you will allow others to access it).
