  • tabları gönderebilirmisin

  • WOW! i am so touched! i heard a song by a turkish singer ARZU called yemen, and i am from yemen. i was shocked to see that turkish people still remember and now this song! i wonder if the turkish people still remember their connection in yemen, as i see turksih blood within my family! merci!

  • emegine saglik kardesim ne kdr dinlesenmde doyamiyorum!!!!

  • that's a wonderful arrange, thanks Ricardo..

hail for all Turks and Yemen people, had the battle at Yemen, as my grand-grandfather did.

the Turkish defence was started at 1917 and ended at 23th January 1919 ( during 1st world war)

they say that the soldiers of Turkish army has not enough supply to fight. many of soldiers died because of scantiness of resources... so the families of their own started to mention the Yemen as a death place... the original song is a kind of lamentation.

  • Awesome dude :) btw where do you live ?

  • Cool i am from yemen. and i work my ass off trying to play guiter . everyday.

  • is it called yemen like the country

  • Exactly. It is about the indescribable pain and suffering people underwent (specifically the Turks) in WWI in Yemen.

  • I'm from yemen and we have turkish blood in the family since that time..i was surprised to hear this song ..its really beautiful..i cant believe that there is still a connection felt in turkey like there is in yemen

  • Wow. Thank you. It's great to reach somebody in Yemen with a connection to the song. My father's uncle was involved in the war - he was taken prisoner in Yemen for 7 years, and after he came back he did not recognize his family, who had long assumed that he was dead and was living a new life. This is actually a folk song. You can listen to something closer to the original song here: /watch?v=J3oUIx1VtMw

Greetings to you and your family my friend.

  • Im sorry about your dads uncle..the turkes had a strong impact in yemen..i kno so many ppl who have turkish background..in yemen when ever ppl see a beautiful person they say he/she has turkish beauty ..anyway.thank you for the song :)

  • well this song is not much of a connection, or friendship song, it is about the pain and suffering caused by the war between Turks and Arabs.

  • Pretty interesting, My family also came from Yemen, but migrated to Israel were they live today. They live in a Yeminte district called Shabazi. I'm unfamilar however with what happend to the Turks in Yemen during WW1?
