I just got the 360 version back in Oct. of '10. Had the Wii version since it came out. Wii version sucks... This level is badass. =D I'm far from pro aswell. XD avarage time is 3:42, but somehow the last time I played my time on this stage was 3:23. >.> before it was 3:36 flat so that makes me happy. XD Haven't acomplished it since... But nice run.

My best time is 3:27:10. Jump off the end of the roof rail at 1:43, jump straight onto the next platform at 2:24, and again at 2:52, hold X at 2:42 until you land (you can go around the outside of the spike mines), and at 3:16 onwards, a little hop-dashing goes a long way.

In certain ways, those games ARE better than Mario but if you look at the way Sonic is doing comparing to Mario it's a big difference.

Sonic's recent ratings = 6.0 - 7.5

Mario's recent ratings = 8.9 - 9.7

This depends too much in the game style. see, meanwhile mario is a more platafor - jumping focus, sonic has an extreme focus on speed and plataforming, so you can't say one game is better then another. BUT, about the ratings, I can say two things: 1- even if it's difficult as hell making a plataform jumping style, like mario, thiis difficult is doubled when trying to do an sonic game. why? because sonic = speed and speed is a factor that's dificult as HELL to pass to a game (hate world counter)

and the second one is: meanwhile a mario game has a... somewhat decent storyline, sonic team is really pissing off much fans with the sonic games storylines. sonic heros, sonic 06, etc etc, you can't say it's an enjoyable storyline...

so that's the reason to sonic games being rated lesse them mario games. isn't that the game is worse, but mario has being able to fill what the game deserves, meanwhile sonic... well....

people really rely to much on cridicts now a-days, just because the cridicts say so, as an example dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 2 for PS2 was rated 6.0, by the so called profeshinals, yet it scored a 8.2 from the fans. really I've play the more recent mario games gotta say they, they aren't good enough to earn a 8.9-9.7,

although the sonic games aren't doing so well (beside unleashed) that does not meen that mario is better or even more laughable "hate-proof* witch is one thing mario is not.

wow!!! the 360 levels are way faster then the wii's, but then again on the wii you can do a spin dash when you boost over the speed pads, and at the very beginning of the level to get a faster start.

I dunno, it looked kinda interesting, if a bit on the slow side. It probably helps that I'm currently on a major Fate/Stay Night kick.

Though his sword seems to take more time to kill things than Sonic usually takes with just his hairstyle. It might be interesting to see what would happen if Super Sonic got the final sword from SatBN, though.

The game gives you the option to switch to the Japanese voices. It makes Chip sound like a 3 year old girl though, so I stick with the English dub.

Yah, this was an awesome run. I only saw 4 mistakes, and 2 of them were on the moving platforms, which is the hardest part of the level.

Just looking at Sonic's footwork makes me wonder.. What kind of material is Sonic's shoes made out of? They stay shiny, they don't stick to everything due to the sheer static electricity that the friction from Sonic's legs pumping out, and they don't wear or tear. That's just awesome.

at 1:42 I don't know if its faster but there is a rocket there you move towards the left and you pass one island you keep running and there is a second island I advise to go slowly becuase it is really easy to miss and at 2:05 there is a spring hidden under the dragons tail it sould take you to another rocket

If you collect Ring's faster by boosting the Ring Energy fills up quicker and stay's longer for you to boost.
