  • It's awesome to see another "white" kid who's also half black. I have 3 sisters, two are darker and one is light like me. Since elementary school it's always been "are you adopted?" "there's no way youre half black, you're white." because for some reason people can't seem to get around the idea that if my dad is black and my mom is white I HAVE to have darker skin. I'm not really sure what point I'm trying to make, it's just a nice feeling to know I'm not alone.

  • @Hdizle360 I feel ya. :)

  • I'm multiracial I'm part African American,part white,part Louisiana French creole,and part cuban

  • I really appreciated this... I wish it was longer because I just find multiracial documentaries so interesting! Nice work :)

  • @ohmygollygarsh Thanks! I hope you find it interesting enough to share with your friends :)

  • I feel the mixed hispanic guy. The first time I had to fill out such information I was just flabbergasted by the White (non-hispanic) option. Also for some reason being white and hispanic just makes people think you could be ANYTHING. Naturally tan with dark features is like being a guessing game for the rest of humanity to nag you with for the rest of your life.

  • I am Spanish, [Native] Mexican, Cherokee, Blackfoot, English, Irish, Scottish, and German. I have a white skin color, but I have darker features. It's funny because people stop and ask me what I am and I normally stop and take an hour to explain. Some people are shocked and some are almost disgusted.

It's really surprising that some people don't understand multi-racialism. Of course being American, we are all slightly mixed, but being of many races and cultures is only a few of us Americans.

  • @TheDiverpro Mind posting a picture as your profile? I'm curious to see how that all comes together with you. Or post a link to a picture

  • Well since everbody else is doing it...

I'm multiracial. My mom is white/native american and my dad is white/black. White people all over the place. I am Mulatto and Mestizo I guess. Or maybe Zambo? I don't know

  • I'm Multiracial. Korean, Scots-Irish, German and English. My mom is Korean and my dad is white. I look a little more white, but I see some asianess in me. I pass for Hispanic, Caucasian and Asian, depends on what other people see it in me. Growing up I been through struggle and racism.

  • I'm multiracial, and it gets tiresome to have to explain my background to people so much, but it's definitely the worst when they then try and tell me I'm lying. I guess I don't blame them though... I'm almost half black, but my hair is straight, my eyes are narrow almond shape, and my skin is beige. Except for maybe my fuller mouth, I have no 'black' features, and I look wayyyy more Asian than I actually am...

  • The woman who is black and Filipino bring up an interesting point.

Her black friends distanced themselves from her primarily I guess because her marriage to a white guy and mixed race children.

From what I have been told by some B/W biracials, many black people and communities dont accept them.

I have been informed of physical and verbal harassment of biracials from blacks. Black americans seem to have hard time with dealing with biraciality.

  • the delusional girl at 2:23 is laughable.

  • @Lunchbreak888 Laughable how?

  • @MBDrama

just funny, she looks like a typical white girl, probably has a few drops of african american blood and she's going on about her people or whatever. It's funny.

  • @MBDrama actually my bad, she didnt talk about her people. but she is still laughable the fact that she thinks she can practically be accepted as a "black" person and that is who she is.

  • @Lunchbreak888 She is half black. Just like I am. Her twin brother is darker. I should've interviewed him too.

  • That's a very interesting observation you make at the beginning concerning how people see you and how you see yourself.

When there is a form asking what colour or race you are I usually draw a little box and write 'Human being' next to it and then tick the box.

There is this destructive need to compartmentalize everything, black, white, catholiic, athiest, old, young, etc, which is contributing to much of the unrest in the world, and our minds, because compartmentalization causes division.

  • i am multi-racial my mother is Native American and Irish and my dad is black and i look more black then white but i still embrace the fact that i am who i am i will never claim to be just one

I am proud of who i am :))

  • There is a black america and a white america trust me

  • wawow, those biracial mixed children are most confused people you ever met! they are very tricky! that very asian looking see herself as white and the very white looking girl see herself as black! they've got the luxury to choose who they are. and don't start with multi racial mixed children! these documentary wake me up not go out your race and have children. although when you see a fine woman of other race,it is very attempting! you don't want your children to have that kind identity drama!

  • @ageniusx187 It's not such an identity crisis, but the opportunity to relate to more than just people inside your "race". Maureen's mother is Japanese but very European looking so Maureen's features became further diminished. Angie's mother is actually very dark & her twin brother is much darker than Angie is. Being multiracial allows you to choose who you identify with. Please don't be ignorant and post on my video about avoiding interracial marriage. It's what made me who I am and I'm proud.

  • @MBDrama yea, exactly. that's a drama they will have for the rest of their life! constant identifying! non mixed people don't have that! and this video is exactly why people would avoid interracial marriage!!! that's why i post it,after watching this video! these people only talk about what others think about them in negative way! and why they don't fit in society! you pretty much told the viewers don't go interracial without actually telling it!

  • @ageniusx187 Did you watch my whole video? They say how they like being different. You're taking it in a different way. There's no superior "race". "Race" doesn't exist. It's a cultural phenomenon to justify exploiting other people with darker skin tones. Everyone will become multiracial in the immediate future. It will just take a while for the people who are still prejudiced and believe in "races" to die off.

  • @MBDrama yea, i did watched the whole video! you live in a fantasy world! yea, of course there is no "race" . by the way, it's white people who came up with that term and brainwashed people all over the world! you clearly don't nothing about "human" history since you sound ignorant! and in every culture ,you know there is "racisme". you are judged by how you look! especially in western white world!!! there has been wars and massacres about race! and you clearly never been in foreign country!

  • @MBDrama 2/2 you see this kind of video since osama been president of us! it's more a propaganda than love of different races! not in this video. maybe you mean well, but as an out stander, i don't feel it. yea, when all people look the same there will no be racism! which is impossible unless 1 race of people eliminates all other races or all races have to fuck each other till right color is matched!

  • @ageniusx187 I think you should explain yourself better. I didn't understand what you were trying to communicate. Our president is Obama, not Osama. And nobody will look the same because everyone will be uniquely multiracial.

  • @MBDrama yea ,whatever, barack osama hussain is a build up puppet to further mislead the mass!

  • @ageniusx187 Okay, so you're a Republican... I'm through with this argument. Love or hate my video. Others seem to enjoy it.

  • @MBDrama no, actually i'm a german nazi party supporter! how dare you call me a republican! so low class

  • @ageniusx187 Also, when I was born, I looked Asian. I am Italian, Scot-Irish, African-American, and Native-American. My boyfriend, who I plan on marrying and having a family with, is Puerto Rican and Lebanese. I am so interested to see how our children end up and look like. Same "race" appearances are so predictable. I like to be able to have anticipation with it. Hopefully this will persuade you to not fear other ethnicities. We are all genetically identical so why would you see anything wrong?

  • @MBDrama actually there is nothing wrong with it!it's just, as an absolute minority living in western europe, i tend to see things most people don't see! and since mixed children are also minority and in every country, minorities will be looked down. i can know that so i would be ignorant not to take that in consideration! also i've known mixed children whites mixed with other race and they are more tend to diss the non white of them! if you know what i mean. maybe in us it's different.

  • My moms: Albanian, British-Irish, Cherokee, Mohawk, Dutch, Pacific Islander, and African American

My dads: African American, Native American, and British-Irish

phewwww its so hard to describe

  • Whoa. That guy that has parents or descendants from mexico said that some people think he's indian.. Someone must not have told him that Mexican isn't a race. Mexican is a mixture of American Indian (Asian), French (which is caucasian) and Spanish (which is still caucasian). He is part indian (american indian).

  • @LilBlkAznBeauty I think he meant Indian like Middle Eastern

  • @MBDrama yeah.. maybe he meant india (indian).

  • I guarentee mine is the hardest one to figure out:

My mother is: Albanian, British-Irish, Dutch, Pacific Islander, and African American

My dad is: African American and British-Irish

  • i am multiracial my mother is of mixed black/white heritage my father is

of afro-caribbean heritage and i am proud to call myself MULTIRACIAL.

  • I guess they arent great friends if they think you're ghetto.maybe you rethink who your friends are.

  • change gon' come" rap re-mix by MzMuffin - on the real, how's u feel?

  • MPP: MixedPeoplePride!!!!!! :) :)

  • I like this video

  • Really great video!!

I'm multiracial. My mom is black, German, and Gypsy... My dad is Dutch, French, English and Norwegian. I am told I look Hispanic, when I'm not at all. People ask if I speak Spanish also. I have dark eyes and dark curly hair, so people assume I'm not white. I hate the check boxes... I always choose other because I can't identify with just one part of my heritage or another. It's nice to see other people who have the same struggles and experiences! Thanks for this!

  • @NellaRose it because most Hispanic are multiracial, that why multiracial people are mistaken for Hispanic and vice verse. I am mistaken for part Asian, but I am a Mestizo Hispanic. If anything, by Hispanic term your a white Hispanic. Don't Italians have curly hairs? If this will help you: multiracial isn't a new thing or something that only happen in United States. I wonder if colleges have courses on multiracial in history?

  • @Autoctonal I'm mistaken for being Hispanic simply because of the way I look. Most Americans don't know anything about being multiracial unless they are or know someone who is. My dark curly hair, dark eyes and lightly tanned skin are all reasons why people just assume I'm straight Hispanic or even biracial. And I know being multiracial isn't new. I grew up in a small white town so I didn't have anyone (and still don't) to relate to. I was just commenting on my own experiences. :)

  • God created everyone. so he likes diversity, so all colors are beautiful.

  • great video!!

  • good jobb i love what you did i going threw the same thingg am multiracial

    am african-american and Mexican

  • that was really great danielle!
