@chilam8668 This should be the anthem for AA I'm 10 years 12-7-10 . This song has help me through some tuff times . I'm sure Johnnys work the 12 step program
@chilam8668 no. johnny hated the actor bill paxton with an incredible and ill thought out passion. bill paxton was supposed to play johnny in walk the line (he'd a been perfect if you think about it) but johhny didn't want him and said his favorite movie moment was when the terminator killed bill paxton. it was a weird interview i learned this in
This is so depressing. But nothing as sad as the Hurt video. Everytime I watch that video I cry... He was amazing, now he is singing his songs with all the angels!

was johnny a "friend of bill"? Whenever I'm struggling and I just can't recite a rote prayer I play this and it helps. I'll have a year on the 25th

There is nothing sad or depressing about this song!!! This is a beautiful song about recovery from addiction and spiritual awakening.

One of his last written songs but also one of my favourites... it's so true to all of our lives.
