hey there i'm just wondering is this normal that when i apply just enough throttle not to lift it off the ground it's always going left no matter what i do. i tried calibrating it but as far as i got with that is to keep it from spinning around itself. that's my first RC heli so i can't fly it yet :D
I fly jets and planes and some one gave me one of these at christmass and wow great fun and tough in crashes mines had 15+ flights and many crashes and still as good as new.
And the digital display cannot be beaten for trimming.
Only be careful going full farward then back hard in advanced mode as the blades can bend clip the rear and self crash the heli only a minor thing tho.
Great heli flying skills Frank and man she was fast for the size plus it's a lot better than the coaxial heli's as it's a fixed pitch heli so more like a scale helicopter flight,i sold my e-flite msr heli because it was way to fast for where i fly indoors (living room) but this one looks a bit more managable plus i bet it's better on the pcket than the e-flite msr ;-) thumbs up
Thanks startazz! The preset dual rates on this heli are great. low rates work good for delicate flying indoors and the full rates help a lot outside. I think it hovers as well as some of the dual rotor helis. It's been great fun so far and I haven't broken anything yet, lol!!
This seems to be a great heli but charging the batteries with the transmitter's batteries? After looking at the landing skid PRODUCT ID: NE4260041 it should be easy to remove the battery connector and use standard batteries like this one PRODUCT ID: T1601S-30. They are cheap and you can charge them with a charger and this harness PRODUCT ID: PICMX6
@l0tf1 Wall charger is too expensive. If you already have a smart charger, just buy an extra skid, and solder a female jst connector to it, and then plug it into the charger. Then just charge it as a 1s, 3.7v battery.
Blade msr is better. just saying :)

I wonder how many flights/charges (of the lipo battery) do the 4 AA batteries in the remote control last?

Great FUN to learn and fly with 9/10

I would never buy a heli that charges from the transmitter - you will forever be buying batteries,
And they wont work with rechargeables as 1,2 volts is not enough to push into the li - po.
