  • Ah! Those sound GOOOOOD!

  • the name of that white pair speakers and this other ones.I think taht is utopia but i don t know model. And what i could expect from atleast this white speakers if i find them somewhere to buy.I m sorry for bad english.

  • Hello.Iam so happy to see that someone like you can enyoj in something like this.I always wanted to liste to music on this way like you,but the price for something like this in my country is so big ,that i think that my 5 or maybe more years of month pay could not pay for utopia focal or something like that.

I also live in small city in Croatia ,and here noone knows good sound.

I just want to ask how much would cost this setup like yours ,i mean just speakers and what is eqzactly.

  • I am a Vintage listener (early 70's components see my videos ) Can I ask you to give me the model of each component you have on this video please? Seams you changes some since that video so is it is give me their model you listen to now? Thank you!

  • I heard some Focal 800 series speakers in person - Stunningly Clear!

Beautiful system, though the room sounds slightly hard and echoing, not much though. If you could soften the acoutics, I think your listening experience would be improved.

Also, great demo, and clear recording, nice to see someone who know how to do more than make their woofer jump around.

    Sweet sounding system.

  • why are u using the surround speakers as front speakers? my guess is money but does that really work? i miiiighttt be able to afford it if i did it that way. The utopia em towers are way too expensive.... I love Focal

  • A cd is read optically, not magnetically...I hope you didn't spend too much on the "demagnetizer"

  • @calvinblinkee On the surface it doesn’t seem possible, since a CD or DVD is essentially aluminum and polycarbonate, neither of which a ferrous materials. However, the inks used to print the labels have been found to contain elements such as Iron, Nickel and cobalt, which are indeed easily magnetized.

  • @kusmake Don't forget to post the site from where you got that from. I read it before on the site that sells the demagnetizer. lmao!

  • @calvinblinkee I forgot to cite to go to church. I have tried researching more about it but that is the only one i could find. If i learn or come across more info about it i will let you know. And thanks for pointing it out.

  • @calvinblinkee Further, while the substrate is 99% aluminum, it may also contain small amounts of the ferrous material listed above. When exposed to magnetic fields inside the CD or DVD player, the disc becomes magnetized. demagnetization revealed measured changes; demagnetizing the discs resulted in decreased distortion, increased signal to noise ratio and increased overall level.

  • rofl cd demagnetizer.... your a freaking idiot audiophile wannabe

  • what did that first machine you put the disc into do?

  • I have their cdp yba desig.. very nice system !

  • Nice in the beginning of the song but they seem like they would be fatiguing during long listening sessions. Total Balance speakers are very accurate and pleasing to the ears. Not fatiguing at all. Overall an ok entry level Audiophile system.

My system costs less than $1,500 and it has impressed many.

This is why I will always use Single Point Source Divers and nothing else.

With multi driver systems the artist sings from the middle.

SPS speakers = artist holographicly in the middle.

  • What is that thing you put on your cd first?

  • Nice System, and choice of music...!!

  • CD's are non-magnetic, They can hold a static charge. Also it is read by a laser which in a CD player can not be affected by magnetic fields. CD demagnetizers are

    a snake oil product.

  • I totally agree, full cd quality is better then mp3 audio. cd's have higher bit rate. I hope they don't stop making cd's either. thanks for sharing your setup very impressive. check out mine! :)

  • Its kind of sad how everyone is interested in these squashed mp3 formats to fit their entire library of music on one device. I prefer state of the art audiophile sound, and as much as I can afford. Great System, a little maintenance with the tube but it's worth it. Great sound. I have Event P8s and Im happy.

  • i agree with the fact that mp3 is the most popular & most easily accessible format on the web and it's convenient but for those that truly dig music its actually quite inconvenient (even iT*nes doesn't sell un-compressed format) & with decent audio playback systems IMO it's impossible to live with mp3s & its compressed quality - might as well not listen to it at all. Thx for the support!

  • yes mp3 with low bit rates suck; however there are uncompressed formats like apple lossless or flac and they sound just as good as cd.

  • yes thx for pointing that out! In fact i have several videos demonstrating apple lossless playback, you're welcome to check them out.

  • As a recording enthusiast I used to look down on consumer grade audio, but in the last few years consumer grade has become just as high quality as anything u could by at a pro audio shop. The only difference is pro reference monitors are design to project an uncolored flat frequency response, but that's for mixing and mastering and has nothing to do with the quality of the unit. U have a beautiful system man.

  • thx for the comment, with professional monitoring equipment you get quality playback that is closest to the way it was originally recorded, but sadly, alot of us r addicted to that sound coloration. many audiophiles are trying to generate that so called "realism" or "timbre" where it probably did not exist in the original record in doing so to increase listening pleasure. It's similar to why we add salt & pepper, or other additives to our food.

  • @benthemiester Any recommendations on pro speaker manufacturers?

  • @mikeb1444 Personally I use pro recording reference monitors built for mixing in the studio, but now days there are many consumer grade speakers for non studio use that are very good. Expensive but good. I havent kept up on consumer grade speakers which are also sometimes referred to as pro audio depending on who you ask, but I would recommend researching first before you buy. Personally I'm not a big BOSE fan & for a few technical reasons, but to each his own. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

  • SUPER ;)

  • Chris Botti is one of my favorite trumpet players..

  • finally someone is listening good music :)

  • Tested with a Quality Tube Cd-reader? Unbeatable sound out of them..

  • Impressive. Very impressive.

  • ...,,,,.i`ll show you how to set a fine thing like that up dogie

  • You system does sound nice though ;)

  • I have some PIXIE dust if You want to sprinkle some on the disc. It will make it sound more clear with a Blacker Background. .....Ha, CD are Digital man

  • What's the frist phase? Some kind of demagnitizer/antistatic remover thing?

  • yes thats my Acoustic Revive demagnetizer, sound is more open after the disc had been de-magnetized. Theoretically it works for dvds too, but i've never tried it.

  • oh God... man we are talking about digital media here...
