I have been home about a year now and im looking at a deployment in jan i can relate to this song all to well my first deployment i came home to a divorce and my life has changed to the point were i rather be their then home i feal like everything has changed and nothing will be back to the same.

I remmeber once I was waiting with my sister for her fiance to come back, and I saw this guy standing all lone, looking quite lost. He had nobody to welcome him home. So I went over to him and gave him a hug, saying welcome back and everything, and I could tell he really appreciated it. So if you happen to be waiting for a soldier to come home, don't forget the one's who have nobody waiting for them. I'm not just talking about boyfreinds/girlfreinds, sometimes their fam is against war too. :'(

My uncle served two terms over there and my bestfriend is getting shipped out next spring. I remmeber once I was waiting with my sister for her fiance to come back, and I saw this guy standing all lone, looking quite lost. He had nobody to welcome him home. So I went over to him and gave him a hug, saying welcome back and everything, and I could tell he really appreciated it. So if you happen to be waiting for a soldier to come home, don't forget the one's who have nobody waiting for them. I'm not just talking about boyfreinds/girlfreinds, sometimes their fam is against war too. :'(
