Thanks for the upload. I always loved the game and especially the music. Come to think of it I downloaded the music tracks from the game years ago (most are in WAV format I think) and looped them and made myself a Journeyman Project soundtrack! I love the newagey tracks like the dream sequence and world science center theme piece as well as the rocking norad song and mars shuttle launch track.
@kylewilson2 According to other people it's not actually used in the game, but is in the files. Who knows if that's correct or not. It's been way too long for me to say for sure.
@05Matz I agree with that, the trackball thing was so hard to do. I loved this game so much but it give me nightmares cause just like you I got it with my packard bell computer when I was little. I did try out 2 and 3 but it's not the same as the original. xD
I also got this game with a Packard Bell desktop in 1995. I loved that game more than anything. I still love it, but I can't get it to work with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Nostalgia ahoy! I really need to find my Journeyman Trilogy CD's. This game is like Myst in that only a certain class of people played it and it is so awesome when you find someone else who loved it as much as you did.
All you have to do is pull up the mapping biochip, and follow that until you get to the certain path on the right side of the panel. You don't even have to look at the main screen since everything looks the same anyways. You can reach the elevator easy inside a minute.
@Renigami Yeah thats why I did when I was younger and frustrated with the maze. You actually werent supposed to be able to do that, but either the coders goofed or they missed it. As in Pegasus Prime, which was a remake of the original game, you have to go through the maze. If you travel back it will restore the bomb in the shield generator and you have to disarm it again.
1:06 looks like Mars. When you come up some elevator, I think right after the maze, there are a bunch of gears behind you. If you were to step back into them, you get crushed, like the picture.

The only death I haven't died from is the one at 1:20. Anyone know what that is?

My family got this game with a Packard Bell computer too! I always loved it.
Used to terrify me when I was little though...
Whirr-click-kaboom! Whirr-click-kaboom! "Out of my way, HUMAN... or DIE!"
Music and atmosphere is great. I should pick up 2 and 3...
Who here thinks Norad needs new trackballs?

@05Matz I still have my old disc, and, IIRC, it works fine with Win7 64-bit.

0:20 WTF? I didn't even know it was possible to die in the prehistoric time period.

I think there's 2 ways you can die.
Ryuukazi 2 years ago
You can walk off a cliff or you can be killed by a dinosaur. I think you have to just wait around for the latter to happen.

Jesus, the ending of this song makes you feel like "HELP! I can't get out!" Very well done by the makers...

That's the ore crusher. If you stay on the boxes transporting ore up out of the mine, you'll be killed by it.
