Hey whats up, I was reading your comments, the person joining the coast guard and wants to go to iraq...should of told him to join the army or Marines. So you were at Pendelton. I was there with Ms Moose and gang in 2003 Im from 313- but now at JMTC. Ive got a video on here too if youre ever bored...look up psu 313. Has a song I wrote while deployed. Laughing at the guy who said theres no sail boats in GTMO- we personally boarded 3 of em. Cheers

Sorry, I couldn't watch the whole video. I am using MWR cable on an army base. Videos don't load too well. I just saw the part with the sail boats. anyway, I never went to the range in Cuba. I was midshift. who is the guy shotting the fifty? I think I went to pheonix readiness with that guy. he looks familiar. But yeah, didn't mean to offend anybody. I spent six years in the coast guard, before I joined the army.

It is filmed in Alameda...then the video goes into pics of the C130 we rode to gitmo. everything after the c130 is gitmo. or you could just google our unit and look at when we were there. DUH. you must be in the Navy !! And the range we are firing at from the the boats is Grenadillo range. If you were there, you should know where that is.....
Well it all depends on what you want to do. If you want to go, chances are best if you join a PSU (Port Security Unit). However, if you are going to be on a cutter, you may still go. There is no guarantee, but your chances are best I think, in a PSU.

this is my husbands old psu crew...he deployed to gitmo with these guys... that was a good fuckin unit!

I was in PSU 305, in Va. I think it was from aug 2002 to June 2004, when I went EAD to MSST 91112.
