Anyone can add their own songs... so expect a rush of copyright infringed, badly synchronised and terribly organised instrument charts? I hope at least the vocals have some auto-detect pitch, cause that could get annoying.

Actually, there are systems in place that prevent most of this. To add an RBN song you have to be in the XNA Creators Club which costs money. This weeds out a lot of the amateurs.

Then, after you submit a song, other people, like me, download/review the song & make sure there is no infringement & that the parts are fun/playable/synch'd. Infringers will get booted from XNA costing them their money & they cant submit any more songs. This means there will be lots of great songs for everyone's tastes!

Making people pay money to submit songs is something I didn't know was happening, so yes I was off-track. And now, while I still think there's gonna be a lot of questionable content (and no, I don't mean the comic) I do think there'll be tonnes of good tracks that I probably wouldn't be able to find due to the other tonnes of not-bad tracks that get uploaded.
