MrJaden318 how long have you been playing GTA IV? cuz iv'e been playing it for about 2 years now and i got the hang of it and i'm a 12 year old so one day you might get the hang of it, here's a tip, to stop yourself from spinning out keep on steering the way your sliding and at the same time hold both the gas and the brake hard at the same time and that will not only stop you from spinning out but also make the drift smaller

when i first got thus car, i started drifting around Alderney and as soon as i drifted left, the car literally flipped and i had to go back to get another one anx guess what? there was no sultan rs! epic fail for me

ive got some advise for you, the cars i personally recommend for drifting are the Cognoscenti and the Super GT

I recommend the Cognoscenti cuz it has a nice big weighty rear allowing for massive donuts and U slidesand the tyres are fairly reliable so they can take a fair amount of sliding before bursting and I recommend the Super GT cuz of it's decent nimbleness, power and it's tyre reliability not only that but in the Super GT it's very easy to fix up mistakes as the handling is amazing

No, chaning the handling data would be the mod. You can shoot out the rear suspension to get better drifts but this is effort and you might as well mod it.

@swiffblastin, you take it into the water ( make sure you can get out, and only the back tires og into the water ), then you find where you think the suspention would be on the back and them shoot at it. the reason you put it in the water is that if it catches fire, it puts it out. lol

@PovGamer Because the sand gave you an advantage, I do this all the time and trust me its not real drifting. I moved on from this a while back, I drift on tarmac now.

@ZOMBAG10 actually it's a drifting technique, there are many techniques for drifting in gta iv i chose just shooting all the tyres once each, some people choose to burst the whole tyre, some choose to mod the game and this guy chose to drive on a slippery surface. it doesnt really matter what surface it's on, ive seen people drift on soaking wet roads.

@TheRguru1 Now this is about what is DRIFTING in real life and what is not. It's all the same in games. Drifting: Preformed on tarmac, using RWD cars. Just sliding through a small corner is not drifting. Drifting is like... well, chaining every drift to each other, going through a section on a racetrack or a road like that.

@LightningDoriftar you obviously dont have GTA IV cuz i do and i know that GTA IV has different driving physics to real life, in real life most RWD cars dont have to altered in any way to allow them to drift but in gta iv the physics are designed so it's easy not to spin out and wheel spin isnt very common unlike in real life either that or you dont have a life

It doesn't matter if it's fucking Mario Kart or real life, still they have the same rules in what is drifting and what is not.

@LightningDoriftar actually it isnt impossible to drift in GTA IV, here are some tips:

Step 1: Get a car that slides easily for example a dukes, feroci, vigero, cognoscenti, bobcat, contender

Step 2:Either pop all the tyres using a gun or drive on a slippery surface (if you pop the tyres they will become more likely to burst, but a car with no tyres slides better than a car with bursted tyres)

Step 3: Drift, however dont feel too persuaded to keep the throttle on full all the time

ok i got something to say it says no mods when you can contrl a sulton perfectly on sand. the only way one would be able to do tht without brake control which you didnt use brakes would be to use a mod tht increases handling off road. i drive the same car in tht beach and have i spun out without brakes. i'm srry i dont believe the 'no mods' part in the title.
