  • Way too much stuff

  • good video...thanks for the time and effort...quick thought...you are packing a whole lot in that tiny bag and mentioned a water source...have you ever thought of upgrading to the maxpedition sitka?...I believe it would be more suitable for your needs and easier to pack and carry...other thanks again...good video

  • @chillmarriedlife

yup, this gear has gone to a larger bag.. I think this size would be good for car geocaching

  • great video

  • what is the pack name

  • Comment removed

  • How about first aid? Backpack maybe better

  • I take bug spray, after bite, sun screen and water bottle

  • free advertisement for the Maxpedition Company and you don't get paid, hahahaha

  • @afterthefox7

You gonna say the same for the hundreds of other videos we have posted revieweing gear?

Most gear has a name on it.. deal with it

  • @afterthefox7 Have you ever thought of negative publicity? If it sucks he'll tell us it sucks...

  • @GMGvanS Do I know you? and since I don't, lets keep it that way.

  • @afterthefox7 You don't know the maker of this video and you still post a negative comment.

  • @afterthefox7 Having enough disposable time to make stupid comments on YT, highlighting a lack of excitement in real life, hahahaha

  • where could I buy in Europe this magnificent bag? thanks.

  • A very informative video about geocaching gear! This video has been featured on hiddencaches . com -Looking forward to future vids.

  • Think it is a little overkill, especailly since you have to add a few pounds of water, food, medical kit, bug spray, and other stuff. But this seems not made for geocaching, which a pencil, gps and water is al you really need for a day hike.

  • what did u use to make the seperater in your altoids tin???? great vid thanks for sharing finally another neatfreak with more ideas!!!!!

  • @ascorpio09

we did a vid on it, just folded up a biz card to make the divider = easy and cheap !!

  • Anyone that hikes, hunts or remote geocaching with a gps only is a fool. I've "saved" more than a few hunters/hikers after their gps units failed due to tech, batteries or sever cold disabled thier gps units. Take a compass also or put your life into mother natures, eveready or mr liquid crystals hands.

  • its hard to resist the urge to stuff these things isnt it :D

  • Had you thought about rudimentary first aid supplies?

  • why dont you just use a camelback pack you said you were going to were one any ways but oh well.

  • what gps do you use?

  • @ Frankfurtxxl

I mostly use the Rino 120 but we borrow / use whatever we can to learn new gear

  • wtats a name of this sing?

  • You could fit all that inside a fatboy and have room left. The bag seems like a large organiser as opposed to a functional hiking/day bag. Good video tho. Thanks.

  • I agree, it didn't last long this way

  • Hi i have a questions about this bag. First where did you get the admin pouch on the front and the organiser on the inside attached to the divider? Please get back to me about my question, thanks! And great video!

    Northean

  • I think it is an ENDOM admin pocket

  • i love this bag but i always run out of stuff to put in the pockets. also i use the velcro back thingy to attatch it to my belt when im hiking so i have some essential items at easy access not in my back pack. awesome vid look forward to more.

  • Do the belt loops work well?

  • not the most comfortable but the pack is definatly held securely. i generally dont keep stuff in the back pocket either so its perfect for me.

  • Good stuff. Please keep them coming.

  • thanks, we have a lot more on the way

  • does the middle divider come with it

  • yes, but I added that velcro pocket (Woodland Camo) to it in this video

  • I got a NF b/c of your vids. Too bad use is impinged on the outside pockets when bag is full. I'm on the hunt for a molle pouch to hold iPhone and keys.

I cut out the small Velcro straps on the back and am on the verge of taking out the longer ones too. Need the real estate. Great vids!

  • Thanks, I have been thinking about cutting those off too, but I feel like there must be some kind of awesome use I haven't come up with yet, so I wait, LOL

  • i think the starps on the back is to attach it to your belt so it wont move when its on your sholders..

  • i would think so, but then it blocks the pocket back there

  • Your videos have become some of my favorites. Maybe add a lighter and some alcohol swabs incase you need fire maybe a more substantial flash light.

  • thanks for the kind words and suggestions.

Alcohol swabs can be good for minor first aid too, I need to get more of those

I should have mentioned my EDC usually includes two flashlights too

  • Maybe you could put a small Carabiner or Paracord through the loop on the Admin pouch to clip the GPS to.

  • Talking about a dog fight. I did the bad thing by trying to separate two mutts but sticking my knee in there. Still have the puncture wounds today.

  • Well the video cut off while where doing this. I would say for myself I do not like the lay out of that bag for geo caching out side of the city. I would think of that more as urban bag then a rural bag. I like how the Admin Pouch fit on the inside of the bag and the one on the out side. i would want something more secure to carry my GPS on the outside of the bag. like a Maxped CP-M.

  • Nice setup! You come up with some very clever ideas for organizing gear. Thanks for sharing.

  • thanks, what would you add or remove?
