Why don't the myriad of LDS Christians who suffer after-death experiences not have similar experiences? Instead, they report an overpowering feeling of peace and love. They report seeing loved ones, interacting with animals in peace. Yet this person ended up in hell! I'm not convinced, and I wouldn't worship a god who is into torturing people just because they weren't evangelicals. One reason I am a Mormon is because God loves His children, and no one can be saved or damned in ignorance.

Its never insinuated that she went to hell for not reading the bible but for belonging to a false religion, a cult, one for example that Brigham Young taught that the sin of adultery could be washed away by the blood of stabbing the adulterers with a javelin. That blood spilt by the stabbing would serve as an atonement according to Young. Do a google search on "Mormon Blood Atonement." The followers of Christianity know that sin can only be washed away by the blood shed by Christ on the cross

The bible teaches that sin like adultry can be forgiven by the blood shed by Jesus on the cross. Brigham Young taught however that if he caught his wife in bed with his brother he could knife them both and the blood spilt would atone for their sins. This info was revealed in the Mormon history document called the Journal Of Discourses as Young spoke these words in the great temple in Salt Lake City March 16, 1856. I'm a nurse and her medical "facts" are so out of whack, anyone in the medical community can tell its a bold faced lie. 1.you don't sedate someone just to give them blood. Someone with shock could die from sedation. 2. If she went to surgery, there's only one kind of anesthesia-general. There is no contraindication to giving morphine post op, its' done every day. 3. A doctor never orders something not be given, they just order the meds they want and a nurse never just decides for herself.

Edie's NY Time's bestseller book is called, "Embraced by the Light"--the 'Light' was Jesus Christ Himself, while Wallace's book is titled, "The Burning Within." Why don't the myriad of LDS Christians who suffer after-death experiences not have similar experiences? Instead, they report an overpowering feeling of peace and love. They report seeing loved ones, interacting with animals in peace. Yet this person ended up in hell! I'm not convinced, and I wouldn't worship a god who is into torturing people just because they weren't evangelicals. One reason I am a Mormon is because God loves His children, and no one can be saved or damned in ignorance.

@lordtheabs Friend, I'm sorry, but if you find a CHRISTIAN person that hate someone, then something is really wrong with that person, because Jesus is NOT hate, as He is Love and compassion and mercy. I watched this testimony and saw nothing but love towards Mormons. If you are a Mormon, please try to get the facts, read the bible, cry out to the Lord and He will save you! no mormon would ever call mormonism "a cult." she's not a very good actor either. unlike Jehova's witnesses, mormons do beleive in the cross they just don't worship it.if you were a victim of crucifiction, would you hang out around large burning crosses? also if she was, at one point in her life a mormon, she would have been taught about hell. mormons beleive in hell. what causes this confusion is that mormons use the term "hell" interchangeably with outer darkness. an script writer's mistake.

This is no surprise. Mormons don't worship the One True God. In fact, they believe their god was once an ordinary man on another planet. They also believe faithful Mormons become gods upon death.

I think everyone who criticizes it is 'cause they don't WANT to believe in something they reject b/c it doesn't go according to their plans or mindset, but in the inside they have doubt they supress and ignore to keep living in the life they want,because if there's no hell, then they can do whatever they want, right? This woman is very confusing. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the savior of the world. We believe in the Holy Bible so far as it is translated correctly. John 3:16 states that if you believe in Jesus Christ you shall have everlasting life. So which one is it going to be? Either you believe in Jesus Christ or you don't. I think this woman was terribly misguided. Or just another ringer on another ringer on a show.

If this woman was actually a member of the Church of Jesus Christ for 16 years and a) didn't believe in Hell; b) had never read the word of God; and c) didn't even know the name of the Church she claims to have been a member of, it's no wonder she wound up where she did.
