  • Nutn, I lived in Wichita, KS and worked for Boeing near McConnell AFB, home of some KC-135's. Awesome plane! Saw them flying everyday for a few years.

    Thanks!

  • First time I watched a whole NutNFancy video. Great job!!

  • Hey nutn.. My father is in the air force right now recruiting and marketing for doctors and nurses..So for a while its been what I wanted to do too, very much so. Not too long ago I set my goal for what I truly wanted to be in life..A air force pilot. I've been trying to bring all my grades up as much as I could seeing that I need a bachelors to even be looked at for a pilot..Im a freshman in hs.So wish me luck with this. God bless you for your service. Love your vids. Have a good one!

  • I was a security forces officer from late 05 to early 10. I was at Dover (when the C-5 crashed), Kunsan, and Wright-Patt along with a deployment in Iraq in 07. " Because of typical cop politics a lot of things happened that I thought were wrong but despite my frustrations most of the stories I could tell about the were positive or at least entertaining. Just the other night I was looking through pics from my deployment in 07. It brought back a lot of good memories and very few bad ones.

  • I was stationed at Minot from JAN05-JUN06, last station after my 6 years. The weather was a spot on description. Thanks for your service.

  • hahaha im still driving a 93 accord. mines only an lx though

  • Nutn, I absolutely loved this video and was completely engrossed by it. Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us, and you can bet I'll be watching the rest the series.

  • @nutnfancy Thank you so much for these videos. I am actually going into the army as a 92 Romeo with a option 35. In short a parachute rigger with a Ranger option. Thanks for the insight.

  • Spent some time in the blue. I miss the USAF. Enlisted gunner.

  • YEAH alqaeda is going to kill an airforce pilots wife.

  • @tanker0wns1 I have certain beliefs concerning the validity of alqaeda and who the real enemy is, however, I %100 support Nutnfancy's decisions concerning how much info he imparted due to security concerns. When you are away, the last thing you want the enemy to know is that you are not there to protect your family, and that they are vulnerable to an attack at home. The enemy will strike at you in any way they can, and to them, family is a valid target. Check your attitude, please.

  • Hey Nutn is there anywhere to download the music from the intro?

    thanks Dude

You are a great guy keep doing what you do

    TNP for life!

  • @KrystsavedMe search on youtube: el dudio guitarra de noche

  • thank you man

  • 38:31 Canadian soldiers :)

  • Could someone please tell me what the intro music is? :o) BTW. Nutn' you ROCK! (Mrs. Nutn' too)

  • @SirThunderPants youtube: el dudio guitarra de noche

  • Hey, dude, I'm from ND and grew up on a ranch. While the weather can suck pretty bad, It makes you tougher for it and maybe I'm crazy, but I love to go out in some 10 degree weather and shoot all afternoon. It's bad ass.

The crime was almost nonexistent forever until the last few years when our oil and gas boom happened and now we have a few undesireable characters around, but mostly good folks.

The other states are great to visit, but I don't think I'll ever live anywhere else.

  • Hopefully I'll be flying some of those CF-35's some day.

  • Awesome video Nutnfancy! Also, thanks for your service to our country. USA BABY!!!!!

  • Stinger: And if you screw up just this much, you'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong!

  • Well I think in the day of digital video and photos the problem is too much video and pictures, at least in a war time environment....I get your point.....back in the day when "real film" was the medium I never took enough pictures either.

  • part 2--I really appreciated your this story Nutn, my dad never spoke of anything about his service and as I got old enough to understand it, never got a chance to ask. So again, my ears were glued to this story and will be glued to part 2 and any new stories. To all those who think there are many here at home who don't appreciate what you do for our country, at the very least, I DO! To this day, I still shed a tear for my dad when I think about what he went through, love u dad!

  • My father, passed in '98, was in Vietnam serving in the Army as a Spec 5 Sgt. and although he died well after his service, I believe it killed him because of his numerous health problems (possible Agent Orange). Cuz of my health problems I couldn't serve but, wanted to be a Sniper, he taught me how to shoot at age 8 or 9. I enjoy my freedoms everyday and appreciate ALL our armed forces for that and know from him how much freedom is not free! My heart and thanks goes out to all of you servicemen!

  • I have more respect for you, now. For a long time I thought you were some P.O.S. cop (I hate cops).

  • Great video Nutn... My family and I used to live next to Whiteman AFB and we got to see them deliver the stealth B-2s! Thanks

  • hi i live in cali and my stepdad works in north dakota he hates it to lol

  • Baby Tactical Doodle looks just like he does now! :D

  • Lt Col Nutnfancy! AD USAF SF SrA here! Love the videos! Keep them coming!

  • Im currently a F15 crew chief in the USAF. Great video!! Enjoyed it

  • I'm an Air Cadet up North in Canada, I'd like to join the RCAF when I'm older. I still have about five years before my private liscence though!

  • Thanks for your service! I love my freedom - thanks

  • wow didnt know you were a USAF pilot. I've seen some of your pistol and rifle reviews, but this vid made me subscribe... Im leaving for basic training for the USAF March 13!!! and congrats on your 20 year career sir.

  • My family came here in 1862 from Ireland and has been in almost every war since that date and every branch but the coast guard.

  • Thanks for sharing and thanks for your service!!

  • I love flying in the Army National Guard. It works the same way as Air National Guard, I knew I was flying UH-60's at the begining of IERW (UPT). Thanks for the videos!

  • Thank you for your service Nutn and thanks for these videos, these are very cool.

  • Entrance is guitar de amour (or something like that) by el dudio

  • •••--•••

    Anyone know the entrance song??

    •••--•••

  • O.R.M. mastermind? Now I know why you wear hats in all your videos. Gotta cover up the devil horns! ---Great videos though. Thanks for all the work you've put into your service, past military and present informational. ...even if a ford fiesta sized 135 will never carry what a C-5 does.

  • This was awesome! Thanks for sharing! Truly inspired.

  • Also I forgot to say that I am wanting to become an Airforce pilot in the future.

  • Holy crap your a USAF pilot. Can we chat some time Nunt? I am wanting to become an Airforce pilot myself and I would like to know how hard it is to get into the Airforce.

  • Totally concur, Nutn. GIs need to capture/document their careers as often as is feasible. I had a tough time making March to Painted Rocks due to lack of source material. Movies aside, one of the chief issues I feel, with dealing with wartime experience is acknowledgement. YouTube is a way to share the experience, to get it out of their system, and receive well deserved acknowledgement. Folks don't know what it's like unless they've experienced it. Here's a way to share your experiences.

  • Does every single vid/pic (bit of media) have to be cleared before you take it off base, so to speak?

  • Ive thought like you since i was like 4, im 13 i live in the uk and i still hooked on everything military, hell thats why i subbed. Im not really interested in planes, but i want to infantry, but i , like, want to make a difference. Love these vids keep it up nutn :)

  • amazing series. Thank you!

  • I am now at McCarant international airport and watching Your videos before departure.

  • KC-135!!!! EPIC!!! i was able to ride in one of those last year with my CAP unit. we refueled a b2

  • Thanks for all your great videos. Was just wondering about the music score your using did you make it up or did it come from a real song. Keep up the great videos and that you for your service to our country.

  • Thanks for sharing. Totally awesome stories and video! You do keep it real and you are square away....way to go, Nutn!

  • Love this series of personal stories vids, there is always something for everyone to learn from them !

Thanks for sharing them with us NnF !!!

    :-)

  • air force = care force lol

  • @nutnfancy Do you still fly as a civilian?

  • Loved the picture of prowler in beginning, love to hear some of navy stories if you ever did missions with them since I'm in navy.

  • Thank You for your service nutnfancy

  • @nutnfancy homestead afb still exists (i work there) they rebuilt it into a reserve base.

    V/R

    PO3 Mrtacticalbacon

  • when you were just a pilot early on how often did you get to fly

  • I'm Security Forces up in Montana so I can relate to ND sucking lol

  • 11:34 - "I wanted to be an A-10 Warthog pilot." Very cool...and I WAS an A-10 pilot for 20 years. Retired since 2006, but the Hog was a ton of fun!

  • @JetJock737 Is being an a-10 pilot one of the most coveted piloting jobs?

  • @iLoveGunzzzzz When I began flying it in 1980, it was looked down upon (literally) by the "fastmovers" like F-15 & F-16 guys. It's a single-seat airplane, which is cool, but slow (325 kts or so). The 1st Gulf War reinvigorated it; it'd been scheduled for retirement in the mid-90's, but now it'll be around for another 10-15 years. The guys on the ground loved us, because we were "up close and personal." If you want to influence the battlefield like Nutnfancy said, it'll sure do it!

  • @JetJock737 That's really cool. I love hearing these memories from veterans, it's awesome.

  • My dad is in the af he's with 314th he's not a pilot

  • Watching your videos over the past few years, I had a feeling that you were a SERE graduate. Many of your survival vids, fire building, cover building, etc. all just screamed SERE.

  • lag spam sorry

  • lag spam sorry

  • kc135s huh. please z out your 1522

  • Stationed at Pope AFB, now Pope army airfield. AMMO troop, IYAAYAS!!! I love the Air Force and if it keeps going the way it is, im def gonna do my full 20. Love your videos man, your the reason I choose my Glock. Gonna get my CCW as soon as the sheriffs call me and tell me to come pick it up. Any good advice on a budget concealable .45? What you think about Bersa? Thanks man!!

  • Kudos to you sir. Keep up the great work!!!

  • Nunfancy for President!

  • Awesome! Glad to be supporting these missions from the grounf

  • Air Power! --- Grand Forks AFB

  • Reminds me of story's my dad who was a Canadian air-force jet engine mechanic for 30 years told me when i was a kid. This was back in the RCAF's glory days when we had fighters like the Avro Arrow, F-86 Saber,F-104 and the CF-5, Im 22 now and thanks to my father (and Ace Combat 2) im on track to becoming an air-frame technician

  • Thanks for the video, brought back some great memories from my Air Force career, thanks

  • When did you start training to be a pilot age wise? Also did you go to school before you could get in to be a pilot for the military?

  • @QarbitraryQ USAF pilots hold 4 year degrees.

  • @QarbitraryQ Check out nutnfancy's "live to impress yourself" video where he explains the stuff you're asking about how he become a career pilot from his vision as a kid, it's an awesome video..

  • Thanks for your dedicated service to the USA Nutnfancy. Hats off to all who have served.

  • Im just a civilian. Have been a diesel mechanic for 30 years and married for 22 years. I look back and wish I did some kind of service but I think I did ok.

I too THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.

    Stephen

  • @83VF750F It is American people like you who also made this country great.

  • Can't kick ass without tanker gas :) Thank you for your service, Nutnfancy!

  • Isn't the KC-135 the plane that's use the most for chemtrails?

  • @kd7one wow. really?

  • Thanks Nutn!

  • I drove Bradley's for 6 years: they are not turbine powered. Just a plain old cummins diesel.

  • *SALUTE* Love your vids. You and I were in AFROTC at almost the same time, so this one brought back fond memories of AFROTC and ATP. Where did you go to school? I spent 5 years in Det 815 at BYU (took me an extra year to finish my BS) and then watched all my buddies get commissioned in 1986 while I was medically disqualified at the last minute.

  • Greetings from Romania Sir..... 2Lt. Kessler (ret.) here....wish I was a pilot and have that kind of life...but...small vision impediment so I had to switch to CBRN (army) instead :D...no fun :( like in the sky though ....

  • Thanks for serving of country.

  • Thank you for your years of Service.

  • Can you still make the M1 flip overs?

  • Whats the name of the song at the intro and end?

  • @warkaj, I believe that song is called "Get Out There" by Dudio. He has a great site with all his music. Good stuff!

  • @mattn5160 No, the intro and outro song to this video is Guitarra de Noche by Dudio.

    /watch?v=mg0WTtwZyjE&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

If you like this song, like this comment to the top so others can find it.

  • sometimes im not really a fan of what you have to say, which just logically makes sense, but i respect you much more after watching this video. your service is appreciated.

  • Enjoying these...thank you for making

  • Ya North Dakota sucks

  • I love your vids they motivate the hell out of me RAH.

  • I can only imagine how you felt i still get nervous when im landing my 500$ RC F4U corsair. she is my baby.

  • FOD walk YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!! at 0400 in January. fuck but first we have to stand in formation for a half hour so all the Staff NCOs can get here. uuugh FOD walk is gay.

  • Thanks for your service Nutn.

  • My dad was briefly a doctor in the air force before i was born. He didn't do much, but he did have a pistol.

  • Major? Lieutenant Colonel? At 2:15 is it your Rank?

  • K c 135 use to be at pease. I was at whiteman afb doing food service at missle sites .good vid do more please.

  • nutn you got any tips for me cause i just enlisted in the txarng as infantry?

  • Commissioning in 17 months!

  • Sir, this makes sense. I have been watching your channel for a few years now and figured you weren't a grunt but you knew a pretty good bit about the military. I also figured you were somewhere near HAFB. Sir, I am figuring you have retired and will congratulate you.

  • It would be nice if the U.S. Air Force replaced the old KC-135's for a newer type of plane that is roughly the same size, say, the Boeing 757, it would certainly save money on maintenance and operation costs in the long run.

  • @n310ea eventually they will do so one day but until then the good old KC-135s have prooven themselves very reliable. not only in the US.

  • Finally some stories and info :)

Been wanting some information and advice

asked for any feedback awhile back on his personal experience but never replied

the series make up for it ^_^

  • Nice video

  • what is the name to that intro song

  • @texborn33 Dudio - Guitarra del noche

  • NKAWTG!!!! 99ARS Robins AFB. Out since 05

  • My self.2 years till USAF

  • Good job Nutn. I'm of a different generation but similar experience. I served for the same reason as you, nice to hear it articulated so well. When I entered the service I wanted the best training available and as a young infantry officer that meant Airborne and Ranger. Oh what lessons were learned and what fears were confronted and mastered thanks to great instructors! I want to thank them now and you for taking the time to share your experiences.

  • Political corectness is build around premise that shit can be picked up by its clean end.

  • Nutn, dude, I've seen only a few of your vids so far and started becoming a fan than I stumbled upon this... Awesome, I now have mad respect and will become a subscriber. Oh and just throwing it out there I'm an AmmO SSgt at Hill, I.Y.A.A.Y.A.S.

  • I love this music. eldudio rocks

  • Nutinfancy,

    Thanks for your service.

  • Nutnfancy great video!! thanks for sharing your stories I look forward to more of them. If your ever in Wyoming let me know maybe we can squeez off some rounds or something

  • Prime that is!!

  • Ill wote for you to be Norways next prome minister dude, maybe you can set the retards in government straight ;)

  • Cool... that you stationed in my home state..

  • Nutnfancy: I might've taken a tanker ride with you before. I was in ROTC from '95-'00, and sometime in the middle...I want to say '98...we went to Fairchild and rode an R-model out over Montana to tank up some B-52's. Got some great photos of that.

I can't believe the flight docs let you fly with those severe allergies! I have two friends who were medically DQ'd from UPT for headaches.

  • Tell you what, nutn. When you have to snuggle up to one of those 135's in the middle of the night over the Pacific Ocean, they are an awesome weapon system!! Thanks!!

  • Boring Me!?? you must be joking! This was my life before you were born.! Good work!

  • KC 135! Dude! saved me many times! At some point each of us decides: one-on-one gunfight, or wipe-out-whole cities-with-a -single pickle push. It's not an easy thing to sleepwith, but someone has to be able to do it.

  • btw, i got arrested in del rio (before you were born) because we were sleeping in the car. before I even got into USAF. They turned us loose after they found that we had no automatic weapons! I still got the TS crypto clearance! Life is funny!

  • I was one or two in my flight training. Can"t remember, but it was a honor to be among the best. The others were all USAFA grads. What a time it was!!

  • "..wreak as much damage as possible.." That's why I directed my milt career to carry 6 H-Bombs! When you care enuf to send the very best!!

  • Good job

  • "Terminator" made 30 accounts to dislike this video :D

  • nice vid!

  • Nutn I saw the f22 a few secs in, does the USAF use them once in a while?

  • Screw politically correct, let's focus on correct.

  • Nutn, let's swap stories...

in the meantime, how does one eat an IED? "how to eat an ied part 2"

  • X X Eyes! Oh man, I almost blew my drink out my nose. LOL

    Best story ever!

  • Thanks for your service and imparting some of your experiences and lessons learned.

  • +1000000 respect

  • Hey, Nutnfancy, you're pretty awesome, from what I can gather from your videos. Thanks for serving, and for making these videos.

  • How about you didn't tell us cuz its none of our business. Surprised they allowed you to retire with your rank and all.

  • You rock. Wish I could have been a pilot. Hayfever sucks.

  • You're a great role model, Nutnfancy. Definitely going to buy another shirt and some goods to help support TNP. Thanks again for all you do.

  • I'm working on getting my SEAL contract for when I join the Navy, but even though you were in the Air Force its still nice to hear people tell stories from when they were in the Military.

  • I have a new found respect for you sir. Feel like watching all your videos now.... wow 944 vids.. um well once a day lol

  • dude did you take all the footage yourself because some of that is in the cockpit!

  • whats the name of the song played in the beginning of the video?

  • WOW Thanks

  • *SALUTE* You served in Operation Southern Watch like me in 1999. I was assigned to 363rd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Used to patrol the desert and look for bombs under vehicles 14hrs at a time. It was one helluva mission. HUA!!

  • Wish someone would have made these videos 20+ years ago, I joined the Army in 1987, E-1, just retired (early) as a 0-3, was offered to go to West Point prep when I was E-3, knowing what I know now I would have gone, either way I would have been a commander, do 20+ years. Thanks for your service LTC, I am proud to call you a brother in arms, we are the true 1%, those who have served this great country. Funny to think that that plane above my head could have been you!

  • 27:59 That plane is not a weapons system. it has no guns, nutn. it's a gods hammer, it's zeus lighting bolt, it's what allows a "weapon system" to function. god bless!

  • 25:37 Didn't want an A-10 anymore. Cool, but you said earlier in your vid the warthog was a CAS aircraft. :( btw I love your new series!

  • Cool Nutn.

  • What an outstanding video! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you for your service and your videos.

  • the ad was awesome!

  • Thank you so much for sharing! I hope to know some quiet professionals in my place and aim to be one.

  • 15 minute politician commerical my ass.

  • 7 mile final? Haha! That must be fractions of time relative to what im used to but it just sounds funny :)

  • A lot of respect to you nutn.

  • awesome stuff nutnfancy.....thanks again for the lessons.

  • Hey man, stop asking us if you're boring us! Not a chance! I think your story's great. I'm a pilot too, but civil in Australia. Wanted the air force, but I have TERRIBLE vision! Love your story man, keep it up. Subscriber over here. Cheers!

  • the A-6 was such a sexy craft

  • I was interested in becoming a pilot of some sort(mainly helicopter pilot but piloting in the Air Force would have been cool!) Too bad I'm color blind, eh? hehe.

  • Totally know what you mean by the quiet professional! The last year or so, I've been flying with some captains like these (civilian) in some of the worst weather going, and yet they're real calm and cool about it. They don't bust out the big bragging and so on, they just do their thing and go home at the end or the day. I have a lot of respect for them and hopefully I can be like them.

  • Hey could you please tell me the name of that awesome song at the beginning?

  • Very cool

    Thank you

  • Wish I could be a air force pilot, should have seen my face when my eye doctor told me you need 20/20 vision to be a military pilot
