  • haha i dont understand anything they are saying

  • Great! since it's closed for good, It's gotta move on to Disneyland California. Or maybe there will be Mickey Mouse Revues at the upcoming Shanghai Disneyland, and the yet-to-come Canada Disneyland. Well, I'll see about that.

  • If this isn't genius, I don't know what is! I can't believe I never heard about this before!

  • i love phirharmagic but TDL shud keep this sttraction as a memorial...tho its klind of empty all the time..phirharmagic will open in Tokyo instead of this classical attraction this month.

  • Omygosh! I love the Mickey Mouse Revue! I'm really sad that they're shutting it down. It's such a classic. I hope fantasmic can live up to this attraction's reputation :D

  • @figureskater64 No, Fantasmic! is replacing BraviSEAmo at Tokyo DisneySea. Mickey's PhilharMagic has replaced the Mickey Mouse Revue. It's open now and it's very good. I highly recommend it.

  • Does anybody know how the cinderella dress transformation works?

Also I did see this in Tokyo. And I would like to see them bring it back to all the parks.

And if they do bring it back, I will like to see them add new characters, like Ariel from the Little Mermaid, or Peter Pan!

  • @toyboy566 um the way that it changes is there's basically one panel on the bottom that is divided into three sections at the top. One section has cinderella in her tattered clothes, the second section has cinderella in her gown, and the third section has cinderella and the prince. Basically, when it comes to cinderella's part of the show, and she is transforming into her gown, there are a bunch of lights that are projected onto her so you can't see the panel turn and switch the sections.

  • @toyboy566 How about some more like Princess Tiana, Rapunzel, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Jasmine, the Genie, Sleeping Beauty, and the Lion King.

  • @TheMrRamonlle Every character mentioned there except Sleeping Beauty couldn't have been included in the show. Remember, the show was designed in the late 60s and early 70s, so the most recent characters they could have included were from the Jungle Book.

  • @kermitdefrog123 i know about it i like mickey mouse but it at tokyo disneyland park

  • @kermitdefrog123, OK, well if the MMR were to be updated, it could have more of Walt's characters such as Merlin, King Arthur, Pongo, Perdita, Bambi, Thumper, Flower, Lady and the Tramp, Tony and Joe, Bagheera, Cheshire Cat, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Chip and Dale, Gopher, and Eeyore. And including Tigger (who appeared in the preshow).

  • @toyboy566 "Does anybody know how the cinderella dress transformation works?"

    Rotating Stage

  • I'm sorry, but what's up with Donald's voice in the three caballeros part? it sounds weird. i wished they kept this in the disney parks. I would had loved to see it...not that I don't love Philarmagic

  • haha i think its the funniest to hear alice in wonderland in japanease

  • They should place this in Disneyland. They should take out the Princess Fantasy Faire and replace it with this. I also would love to see this go back in the Magic Kingdom.

  • Updated though...the animatronics look, well, primitive. Add some more fluent motions, and yeah, it would make a good comeback.

  • @MrThemeParkAudios, Disneyland's still using the Princess Fantasy Faire. So why not you replace the Pinocchio ride and Village Haus and the Snow White ride with it.

  • I am very sad that they closed this attraction. To me, even though this may not be exciting as the other attractions, it has the beautiful and classic sensation of Disney.

  • noticed how mickey speaked english in walt disney's old voice at the end of the show. :)

  • It's sad that Disney closed the show, it seemed like a fun attraction to see. My favorite part was with the Three Caballeros and how they zip from stage to stage at the fire of the 2 pistols Panchito holds. It hurts to think about what Disney would/did do to the animatronics... it would be much happier to see the characters be kept in the same condition and somewhere where they can be seen only still.. well, be themselves. The Three Caballeros have a Gran Fiesta Tour ride at WDW they could go to

  • Translate this? please.

  • i luv animatronics

  • Visiting Tokyo Disney was such a surreal experience for me. I didn't have a video camera then, so I only took still shots. It was hard to describe the experience to friends and family in the US. Thanks for posting this, I will share it!

  • ついに終わってしまいましたね・・

    大人になってから全く行っていなかったのが悔やまれます

    26年間お疲れ様!

  • @cocosw1081 NO

  • This is so fun, thanks for sharing. Disney is all about music for me and its hilarious to hear it all in Japanese!

  • Maybe they would squeeze room back in there for Magic Kingdom, or bring it to the other three Disney parks in Florida, but they probably won't do that though.

  • This will be closing down for good later this year...

  • Great show. I always have a weak spot for animatronic shows. Glad I saw it before it was closed.

  • When I first visit WDW in Orlando in 1976 I saw this and loved it.

  • I am so happy I found this. This was my favorite attraction and I remember when it went to Tokyo I was very upset! I filmed it with my super 8mm camera and taped it with my audio tape recorder, it's a little weird hearing it in Japanese but I'm SO happy they left Mickey as Mickey! Thanks for posting this.

  • 三人の騎士のドナルドの声が今と違いますね

  • Translation, please

  • THIS IS GREAT! If they're closing it in Tokyo, they've got to find a place for it somewhere! Bring to Disneyland; I think it would fit nicely in DCA's expansion. Mickey's Philharmagic is good, but it doesn't have the classic charm of this! I prefer Audio-Animatronics over CGI stuff anyday! AA's are the unique feature of the Disney parks! They were Walt Disney's own personal innovention!

  • I was lucky enough to see this in Tokyo and I'm dismayed to hear it's closing next year! Surely they can't destroy this piece of Disney heritage. It defines the Disney "golden" era that will be remembered long after the likes of Hannah Montana are forgotten! It must be found a home somewhere!

  • This is closing May 2009 in order to make room for Mickeys Phillharmagic.

  • i am soo happy that mickey phillharmagic is finally to tokyo disney resort this we will be second time they did in hong kong disneyland now coming to tokyo disneyland in 2011 great i have wait to 2 years

  • Oh NO!!! Don't get me wrong, PhilharMagic is a great show, but this one was special to me from when I was a kid!

  • No way! This is my childhood

  • hi diddle lee dee

    an actors life for me!

  • thank you for posting, great memories!

  • you know there is good news. atleast its not in disney's boneyard. so, its not gone for good and as much disney has changed this is atleast the best they can do. i personally much rather have it in another theme park then having it trashed up and abanded. thank you for posting it.

  • this is the exact one that was in disney world. when they closed the ride they shipped it to tokyo

  • It's amazing that the only words said in English in this show were spoken by Mickey himself.

  • Thanks for posting the whole thing! Other clips of this on YouTube were shortened.

  • thank you sooo much for posting this !!

But Oh No ! America (DisneyCompany)is shipping iT's important electronic historic piececes to japan...sad..

  • It is amazing that I have missed so much of Disney from that time.

  • Thanks for posting this. Makes me want to go to Tokyo even more. Such a great idea for a show. Would make an awesome, long dark ride.

  • Parkhopper, it's Mickey Mouse Revue, NOT review.

  • I know it's a long time coming, but thanks for the correction.

  • Did any of you know that when Walt came up with the concept for this show, he initally wanted pre programmed hecklers in the audiance?

  • Really? That's awesome.

  • You mean like Statler and Waldorf at Muppet*Vision 3D?

  • I don't know what a heckler is, so not sure

  • Hecklers are people that joke about a performace through out, much like Statler and Waldorf at Muppet*Vision.

  • I did some research on the Mickey Mouse Revue, and i found out a interesting fact about the show building while it was in WDW. Even though the main theater was capable of holding 500 people, the Preshow area could only hold 300 people, apparently a planning mistake.

  • I first saw this show back in 1975! After seeing it in several more visits, I was disapointed to find it had moved to Tokyo. FYI, this was in the same Fantasyland theater that now shows Mickeys' Philharmagic. Many happy memories are now dubbed in Japanese.

  • "Many happy memories are now dubbed in Japanese."

Sucks to be you, I guess.

  • Cool. I have this show to. Does anyone have the English Soundtrack to this.

  • Here's an interesting fact about this show. If you pay REALLY close attention and count, you will notice that Pancito of the 3 calbaeroes (Sorry, don't know how to spell "Pancito" or "Calbaeroes") fired a total of 27 gunshots during the show.

  • You what's weird, according to the widen your world page on this attracion, there were 15 giant flowers in the Alice in Wonderland area, but when I counted i only saw about 12 flowers.

  • According to the Walt Dated World site (Google for address) there is an interview with an imagineer that hints that those missing heads may have been put in the 1984 redo of the Alice in Wonderland ride in Disneyland.

  • Oh yea, now I remember reading that on the walt Dated World Webpage too.

  • The 3 Caballeros sequence is one of the best parts.

  • Wait a second, is the snake in the orchestra part playing it's tail as a FLUTE!!

  • NO, the snake is a harp.

  • According to a website called Widen Your World, a website for extinct Disney world attractions, the snake's name is Kaa (Don't know movie, probably the jungle book) according to this site Kaa played his tail as a flute. Besides, how could it be a harp, there's no strings.

  • I'm sorry but the flute is being played Baloo who is right next to Ka, the snake. There are strings on the snake/harp but you can't see them in this video.

  • You should see the Widen Your World webpage on this attraction, cause it said Kaa played his tail as a flute.

  • Thank you for this upload. It is amazing that I have missed so much of Disney from that time.

  • Thank you for this post. I was fortunate to see this at WDW back in 1973. I got back in the 90's and still couldn't believe it was gone. Why didn't they just build another one in Japan. This show was pure Disney, roger rabbit and toy story are OK but this showed who Walt was and what he felt. I like at the end that the prince is standing next to cinderella.

  • thank you soo much animatronics are just way cool

  • they had to have this leave america the YEAR i was born! gosh, i really wanted to see this!!!

  • Wow, Marc. Just wow!

  • Who's Marc?

  • Marc S, who posted this video.

  • are you giong to tokyo disney resort next year for tokyo disneyland 25 anniversay and disneyland paris 15 anniversay

  • what year and month is this ? parkhopper that very old one is beenn 24 years is need to mickey philharmagic. show also start mickey mouse and donald duck. trans into japaneses so they left magic kingdom i am right? and real people in black stuff?

  • This was shot at Tokyo Disneyland in September of 2004.

  • Those animatronics are CLASSIC!! Thanks for the post!

  • Thanks for posting a CLASSIC that I never got a chance to see. I have a small portion of this show on vinyl LP and that's as close to this as I got! Great stuff!
