HI. Egan refers to FEV1 as a flow because it is the volume of air that leaves the lungs over one second and flow is defined as volume/time..so it is actually a flow..Great Video though...I am currently a RT student and found this quite helpful :-)
Hi my name is kristie I was wondering if you could do a video on the pharmacology the math involved in it. I am a Respiratory student and I am not good at the converting the drugs could you help. I also have others in the class who don't understand the converting.
@kristiebordelon I would like to do more videos on calculations. Now that I have a white board (albeit, a tiny white board!), it should be easier. I perform almost all dosage calculations using dimensional analysis, so it will help to be familiar w/ that method of solving problems.
