  • Could you let me know how long it took you to install. and did you have to remove the radiator? Nice bike!

  • nice exhaust

  • stupid idea is stupid! first of all your exhaust will spit unburnt oil onto you tire then you will wipe out get decapitated and worst of all destroy the poor bike :(

  • you want a loud bike, get a harley

  • You want a loud bike thats fast, get a sportbike

  • I have a cbr1000 fire blade as well you dont mind telling what kind of fender eliminator is that please ?

  • Yea man, keep revvin' that shit! Fuck that back pressure up! Yea man sweet! Let's bend some valves too! Yea yea man!

  • way to fuck up your engine back pressure kills dude

  • great

  • is it ok to run this bike without the exhaust on? i min going out of town

  • nice

  • must be loud as fuck to ride :D sweet

  • if straight headers sounds better and no pipe weight... then why people bother adding exhaust systems that adds more weight and suppresses the sound!?

  • 8 NEIGHBOR CLICK ON "DISLIKE" THIS VIDEO =D

  • Nice but if you don';t put it back, lack of backpressure will blow your engine valves.

  • @eeretz "bend" your engine valves!

  • is it legal??? i think its noisy, police will not let u :S

  • thats one MEAN bike!

  • I can see the oil burning smoke, too bad Honda blew it on the '08 oil control rings. I sold mine because of it.

  • Origin Origin Baby ;)

  • lets get a ved of the vet next i want to c that car

  • you sir have nice taste in bikes and cars...always loved Stingrays

  • Sounds like a GP bike nice

  • I'd have to ride it!

  • thumbs up the bike farted

  • @o11g2 fail

  • that would go like a bitch if you left it off

  • that sounds like shit

  • @xXxchipperchopperxXx the pipe is off so of course it sounds terrible itll probably run like shit too til the pipe is back on and if your in the same area as it you go half deaf tried this with a cbr600 once lol

  • COOL

  • i would have kept it for a while and then after it got old, but the exhaust on

  • o w pizde... ma jebniecie.

  • u leave it like that ?

  • wow awesome bike man. im looking to get that same model and color. i wish they made an actual pipe that sounds just like that. cuz that is beast.

  • Good god, anytime anyone ever posts an open header clip ALL of the ASE master engine builders and Motogp engine designers come out of the wood work and say in so many wikipedia words "it's gonna burn your valves" blah blah. These fuckin things idle so high the pulse between every exhaust cycle is not enough to cool the valve let alone revving at 10 grand.

I swear you people look up "______ with open header" just to comment and pretend you're smart .

  • @kiroc89 hahaha this fuckin made my day !!!!!!! hahahahahahahhahaa your awesome

  • the only sound i herd was...... " blown blown blown" rubbel rubbel rubbel

  • have ytou ever burnt a vaulve

  • Nice video, and nice comment on telling some morons that the bike is warmed up, we all know what sort of people we can find on Youtube... Great bike!!

  • leave it open! thats so sick, it sounds like a superbike.

  • i was wondering, do you always need a slip-on on all the time wen youre ridin?is it bad to have it off?

  • @TheMRSCHUCKNORRIS You dont need it on there but you lose back pressure and it doesnt make the same power! If your just cruising around its cool but if you really want it to run right you need the can and the back pressure!

  • @craigg1981. Mate, fuck off. 1. Learn about the internal combustion engine. 2. When you know enough, then teach others. It does decrease back pressure, yes, now, let's learn what backpressure does shall we? Backpressure slows down the piston, the quicker and easier you can get the gases out of the chamber the better, because: less resistance on the piston = more revs. It doesn't damage the engine, bend valves or any of that shit, it just upsets the neighbours. Motogp bikes have straight pipes.

  • @hgjisnfdlishdjthlre yes and no there is a lot more into it but you can damage a valve long term if you don't adjust your valve opening and closing times or at least remap the ignition times after you removed the pipe to prevent backfiring because that does a hell of a lot of damage to valves.

  • @hgjisnfdlishdjthlre Chill man, I believe I know how an internal combustion engine works, I'm a certified Honda and Yamaha tech..... Back pressure is used to scavenge the engine and it can lead to premature valvetrain failures! Its not going to happen in a month or maybe even a year but it will happen! And what MotoGP bike has straight pipes?? Your a complete tool, honestly, you are..... Do you have any idea how long it takes to build a GP exhaust?? Weeks! Do some homework son.......

  • @craigg1981 Don't mean to sound like a dick, but it's not back pressure that causes the scavenging effect, it's the exhaust velocity of the pulse that causes the scavening affect. It's in reference to Bernoulli's principle. You want the exhaust gas to travel as fast as possible with minimal back pressure.

  • @OoShinkooO but you also need back pressure to push the valves back down. if you didnt need back pressure at all people would just take the headers completely off of engines

  • @joelluing09 I guess maybe cars are different? Then again Motorcycles do rev much higher then cars, and I don't know of any cars that can sustain revs as high as motorcylces with valve springs; the valves would float..?

  • @OoShinkooO Physics is just kinder to smaller engines. Picture how if you double the diameter of a circle the area squares. A bike valve maybe half the diameter of a car's, but 1/4 the weight, for instance, so it's much easier to keep out of valve float. Also materials' strengths don't scale in a linear fashion, and more so when the forces involved are accelerative in nature like moving engine parts. Those things, along with a few others, add up to small engines sustaining more RPM.

  • @member548 I guess this is similar why it's much easier to produce a 2.0L Engine to rev to 9k (Honda S2k) verses making a V8 Rev that high consistently without spending Alot of money on the engine?

  • @joelluing09 No, back pressure has nothing to do with valve closing. There are many reasons you need a pipe of some sort over nothing at all, but having back pressure, or helping close a valve isn't either of them. Go spend a few days researching exhaust and engines and you'd see.

  • Sounds sick. A lot like my taylor made slightly throatier.

  • sounds like pure sex man

  • this is SICK man.. i love ur bike ;]

  • should have taken it for a ride like that

  • nice bike

  • блин подарите ктонибудь мне

  • thats a nice bike

  • That sucks compare to a katana 750... I tired the same on the Katana, it sounded like a harley davidson.... rich low pitch loud and powerfull sound... if it wasnt for the cops pulling me over i wouldve left it w/o a muffler...

  • moto novinha já fumando. Que merda!

  • ausome

  • where is the exhaust? lol

  • NICE!!!!!!

  • WOW - just was thinking about driving around in the city like that :P

  • Aw that just sounds evil as, bet that would shake the bolts out the fecker.. an give you a orgasem lol.

  • nice

  • Show!!

  • sickest bike on the market. great sound!

  • sounds like your mum ruff

  • I had a 2008 cbr1000 and i did the same thing to it for a day or so, no bike i have ever heard can touch this bikes sound with no pipe sittin still, its loud as shit and sounds perfect!!! only problem is that when u ride it that it is raspy as shit also... just throw a 2 bros/ leo and u have perfection my friend...

  • that shit is running waaaaaay lean

  • nice but unreal like a hookers smile... you need exhaust for quality sound

  • @spanakoruzo hahahaha funny shit dude

  • It sounds sweet. That's how it sounds with the hotbodies megaphone.

  • its got a slip off

  • shit!..... F a slip on.

  • paura e panico

  • das ist der besten sound =)

  • NIKEBOARD, I read you physics lesson. Wouldn't a smaller pipe like the muffler after the 2.5" collector add backpressure? How do you figure out what backpressure is needed? I'd love to ride mine without a muffler, yours sounds great. So I could run my R! motor in my quad without a muffler? Nevermind that one, I'll need a supertrapp for the dunes.

  • oooooooohh this shit is better than mine

  • I am 16 and a half and just got my motorcycle permit my dad said I have 11k for whatever bike I want I don't know if I should by a 1k bc I'm just starting off what bike do you guys think I should get?

  • Comment removed

  • Dont buy a 1000 cause those are not begginer bikes at all :P i might suggest the 08 Ninja 250 from what i heard its a very nice begginer bike then work up to 600 then 1000 but make sure your comfortable on each one before attempting to ride a 1000 cause their for expirienced riders. Drive safe :D

  • Perhaps you should look into a mongoose. Their cheap and good starter bikes. 3-400 bucks at wall-mart.

  • Thats what i had before i got my yzf r1 i learn how to wheelie my mangoose bike. now i can wheelie my first bike ever a yamaha r1 for miles!

  • lollololololololol

  • @anamishwoman Naw man, Little Trikes are more dope, everyone knows that XD

  • Buy a cheap bike... as a learner you will drop it a few times... 1000 is too much for a beginner. I think the cbr 250 rr is perfect.. I ride 1100 and still have plenty of fun when i jump on cbr250rr.

    Ride safe!

  • if your speed crazy and just like to go fast all the time then no do not ... plz do not get a 1000 ... im tellin you... but if you jus cruise arond and get the feel of the bike b4 being a maniac then you'll be ok wit a 1000...if you get the 1000 tho get a honda they are the best but its speed is crazy

  • First of all, you are a lucky guy if your dad wants to spent 11K for your new bike...

Second: try to controle yourself...if you have controle over your own throttle handling, you can ride every bike you want...

  • GSXR 1000. mmm!

  • 600-750cc my first bike when i was 16 was a nighthawk 750, rode that for one season, and upgraded to a GSXR1100

  • comments like this aren't needed you obviously have something pretty big shoved up your ass

  • @ajizzle09 Comments like what? Who were you referring to?

  • yea man what the fuck.

  • should have left it off, the bike will likely be wadded up within 3-4 years anyways, fuck your valves :P

  • is a Stingray in the background??

  • Yeah it's a 76 L82 with a few mods, it has 39,000 original miles on it, my dad was original owner, and I bought it from him last year so it has been in the family since it was bought new

  • @NIKEB0ARD haha lol i see how much it means to u with ur tools laying on top of it

  • @NIKEB0ARD

76 is a terrible year sorryyyyy

  • @NIKEB0ARD I accidentally voted your comment down. But thats cool as hell you guys have had that car in your family like that. My dad had a bunch of badass cars but he wrecked them all. Wish we still had them. NIce bike.

  • @valcerfabri ha I love how almost any typical American can recognize the shape of a Stingray in 1.7 seconds.

  • @youknub by his name, he's not american

  • Oh my god,i love this bike!!!!!!!

  • nice.. black on black. nice

  • fuck yea! the 08 1000rr is my all time favorite liter. Really doesn't get any better!

  • sounds good for open header.

  • bad for the valves.. but sounds good

  • what kind of lower license bracket do you have on the swingarm?

  • I Love This Bike

  • nice vid. Noticed the tail section is cleaned up, what undertail have you got on there?

  • it is a ride engineering undertail, then I cut up the stock tail light, and wired a new LED configuration into it, and cut the top aluminum piece out of the under tail and replaced it with the new custom tail light, I also had to modify their stock mounts in order to clean the tail up that much. and there is only enough trunk space not for the power commander, my registration/insurance and the ignition module lol

  • nice

  • you are an idiot.. reving a bike up with open headers.. looks like you know a lot about bikes.... oh.. and by the way.. it is really good for your bike.. yeah

  • actually it doesnt hurt it at all. some race bikes are run on open headers. i ran my r1 on open headers

  • um yeah, been over this before but since you are unable to read down the page i will give you a little university level physics lesson. backpressure achieved is the product of the smallest diameter achieved in piping, therefore maximum back pressure occurs in the mid pipe where diameter is 2.5'' then expands into the re verb chamber at 3.25'', therefore based on the rule of gas expansion, anything past smallest said diameter has no effect on back pressure. In simple terms open header= no damage

  • I tottaly agree with NIKEB0ARD.

  • ouchh that kid got spanked... shame on you markbre11 hahaha

  • I see he withdrew his comment, if you want to debate something always make sure you can site/back it up with sources, that's just freshman college knowledge

  • Unbelievable bike man. may i ask if you work on bikes for a living? or just a strong hobby?

  • Just a hobby, i thought about going to school for it and trying to work on a race team for a while. I actually have a degree in environmental geology, work for a government agency, and am going to law school right now lol, so this is kind of just a pass time, i decided if I did it for a career i would probably end up hating it.

  • Hating it? by the sound of it you have a passion my friend! i mean i have no idea how to do something like this but im guessing neither do a lot of people. Yet you talk about it like you know EXACTLY what your doin ya know? would you ever do custom work?

  • I have done a little bit of here and there, mostly for friends, I think the next video i'm going to post will be a "how to" on changing motorcycle tires with a pair of irons and a bottle jack, which is all you need to do it and balance it, instead of paying the stealership $150 to do it. you can actually do both tires in about a half hour too, so keep an eye out, any mods I do from here on out i'll also to in a "how to" format

  • I love it! An environmentalist running open pipes. And here I thought all tree-huggers hated the internal combustion engine! :)

    Slick bike. Love the sound.

Now for some footage of it murdering ozone at WOT. :)

  • sounds absolutely insane

  • I cant believe i spelled whine like that, sorry ^_^

  • don't listen to the idiots wine, sounds nice, clean bike :)

  • hey how did you like the 520 conversion?

    was there a big difference?

  • for the 520 conversion I went with AFAM sprockets, I went -1 in the front and +2 in the rear, with the highest end chain DID makes. It actually helped a lot because first gear seemed really tall before i did this, my friend has a 2006 GSXR1000 with stock gearing and I would hear him shift to 2nd with me having about 3000 RPM left before shifting, this helped significantly. def go with the speedo healer, because after this i was off about 10mph before recalibrating

  • shit thats alot man 10 mph

    well thanks for the info

i am getting mine done this weekend i got a driven usa one

how much is the speedo fix?

  • id rather not get it fixed imo.

  • why?

  • is that bad for the bike? sounds sik

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

  • dude why u rev it that high on open headers u sualy would suck a vaulve ur lucky

  • Uh no, it would definetley not stick a valve with open header, the mid pipe collector is still in place, so..... no loss in back pressure. And the only way you could really do that is one, if it was a shitty built engine where the valve could tick up and float, and two if you kept the engine at peak operating rpm without load, for a extremely long period of time, thats kind of why they invented overhead cams

  • not good for it

  • Like a F1. New CBR 1000 RR is Best.

  • =] awesome sound lol...
