Was pretty impressed with the demo. Got a 3:59:14 myself, after about 4 or 5 races. Got it so we were running right on the tarmac. Pretty awesome explosions and stuff, though I'm wondering how many times the falling Jumbo Jet will catch you (or any of the destruction events) before you figure it out......

DL it and tell me what u think ,.. i really enjoyed it .. very rarely will i play a demo 4 or 5 times like that ... every race is a lil diffrent since you can alter your routs and mess up the track ...(an airplane landed on my car) lol

This WILL NOT have any other on screen features, what you see for a hud is what will be in the full game. They already said in an interview that it doesnt matter how fast you are going, and that they didnt want a top corner hud because you need to be able to see oncoming explosions

I think the Burnout series will be fine, Split/Second plays a different way. Even so you can't use Turbo/Nitro in this game nor does it has a KM/h meter or something like that. The main point to this game is just drive the track while these explosions go around which is triggered by other players or by yourself to knockout other players in a awesome way, and these explosives can alter the track itself. In the demo i found 3 other routs :D 6:10 with the airplane is awesome !
