Not enuff is said about James Worthy. Jasontreks is right , Worthy DID have the fastest 1st step in B-Ball history. He would start with His back to the defender & just BURST around him....I've never seen anything like it b4 or since & I been watching the ABA/NBA since the late 60's. Worthy seemed to cover 15 feet in a step & a half...truly amazing!
Whose idea was it to cut basketball to a slow R&B-type jam? I get that Daryl Hall is using a basketball metaphor for his lovemaking, but that's no justification.
@hispheekness I remember when nbatv played these commercials I loved them now all they play are itt tech commercials and a bunch of other nonsense.@1987Hawkeyes thanks for playing this gotta love old school basketball
My favorite commercial as a kid. I'd literally get chills when it played on Sunday afternoons during a CBS doubleheader (usually in Boston or Philly first then LA for the second game...good times)
James Worthy's 360 layup was sick... maybe the fastest first step in basketball history. It's like no one could guard him... one-on-one. No pun intended.
